Working away with business, I struggled to find the hotel as I’m not from the area. Amy who was on reception worked fantastically well to navigate me to the hotel and go above and beyond my checking in process. Well need more of Amy’s in this world! Thank you for your help

Due to wok i stay at this Premier inn quite a lot. I have to say the team here are just fantastic really helpful and friendly . Nothing is ever too much trouble. Location is perfect right in town so easy to get about and. Food is typical Thyme brand meals which after a few months gets a bit boring but thats a very small price to pay Well worth a visit to use as a base if in the area. (top tip, top floor is best for mobile signal ground floor is dreadful)

"Brilliant weekend stay"

Myself and my partner recently stayed in this hotel and we cannot recommend it enough- our room was clean and tidy, tv in perfect position on wall in centre of room, the whole room had a real ‘homely’ feel, with pictures on the wall etc - it didn’t feel like a hotel room at all. The no contact checking in process was fast and easy and location is perfect with the train station right on the doorstep along with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets - we can’t wait to stay here again!

"Really Nice Experience"

Check in was a breeze and the duty manager made it a very pleasant experience. The facilities are clean and welcoming. Although this hotel does not have it's own car park, don't let that put you off. Plenty of street parking round the front and if you can't get a space no worries, there is a short stay car park round back. Just follow the signs. Cost is quite cheap and if you park after 18:00 it's free till 08:00.

"Nice food improvisation! "

I stay in many Premier inn hotels for business use all over the uk. I use this premier inn quite often. Due to CoVid 19 they are on a limited restaurant menu as classed as a cafe rather than a restaurant. I had a very warming beef chilli with added red chillies and it was hot and spicy just like you want sometimes and full of flavour. The staff member who cooked this Aileen liked to add her own particular touches to the basic meal making something quite ordinary into something rather good. Now to the pud! They had ran out of Choc Brownie and only had vanilla icecream left. Aileen again came up trumps with her idea to enhance this with warm maple syrup and scotch type pancakes which was just what you needed after the hot chilli! Well done Aileen for your on the spot improvisation. You are a credit to Whitbread group at these challenging times for the hospitality business. Thankyou.
