Overall the stay was pleasant. The amenities were as expected, the rooms were clean and the bed comfy. The only considerable downside was the lack of air conditioning as we stay in a heat wave. The room was boiling despite the two fans provided.
The staff, especially in the breakfast room were amazing. They were extremely helpful and professional. As a coeliac, they catered for my needs thoroughly making me feel safe to eat. The staff even went out of their way to help my autistic daughter cooking her fresh pans chocolate croissants! Well done chef Thalia and Host Thales

"Fantastic stay for Harry Potter"
Fantastic location for visiting Harry Potter. Efficient check in and good parking. Next to a Miller and Carter.
Breakfast was lovely, both days. Fast and friendly service, Host Gary and Chef Thalita were so happy and helpful.
Lovely stay, definitely recommend.

"Not good"
I booked for 2, there was only 1 mug and 1 bath towel, the curtain was lacking hooks and hanging down. The shower was slippery, no mat, A winter duvet 10.5 tog on the hottest day of the year. I complained when I checked out but found the receptionist rather nonchalant, especially when he cheerfully said the duvets have just arrived!

Great location for the Harry potter tour visit. Plenty of parking. The rooms were clean and tidy though the bathroom showed a bit of wear (not surprising as it will be constantly busy). The hot bank holiday weather made it a little uncomfortable but we could open the window and had a fan in one room but not the other. The stars of the show were the host Gary and chef Thalita. They made our stay so pleasant. Gary is a Star! He was so polite and attentive, making sure we had everything we wanted. One of our party required gluten free items and he was so helpful in sorting that for us. We stayed 2 nights and on the 2nd morning he greeted us like old friends and instantly remembered about the gluten free requirements and had the toast on the table before we'd even sat down! Thalita was lovely, her food was beautifully cooked and presented and she had time for quick chat while making sure everything was stocked up. They are both a credit to the company. If we're back this way, we will definitely book here again.
