"A bit run down and in need of a re-fresh"
For us the location was fine, not too noisy and handy for Miller & Carter steak house. We were attending a wedding and our group had booked multiple rooms, which seemed to have a theme…. Most of the rooms are a bit shabby (see pictures) and the breakfast at £11 per head was not good value for money….. dry hard bacon, overcooked fried eggs, pastries ran out etc.

"Superb location, clean and tidy."
Don't do many reviews but I would recommend this Premier Inn. We stayed 2 nights and ideally situated for the Harry Potter studio tour and only a 30 minute or so drive to Thorpe Park.
On arrival the receptionist (young female) was extremely polite and welcoming. The 3 rooms we booked were all clean, stocked with tea and coffee facilities, towels again all clean. On checkout day the receptionist (young male Watford supporter) was polite and helpful with us, the 2 employees I spoke to are a credit to the company.
Location is ideal, King's Langley shops are 2 minute walk, Hemel Hempstead is around 3 miles. It is also set back from the road with a car park with plenty of spaces, a steakhouse also shares the car park.
Will 100% return next time we visit the area.

Filthy room. Toilet seat was broken and was covered in a film of goodness knows what - should have been replaced. Mould and dirty marks everywhere. The chair and floor was dirty and had stains on it. Felt really grubby. Very disappointed but really no excuse. Shower had seen better days and went from cold to hot continuously. No air-conditioning but it does say that on the website. We stay in Premier inns 4 or 5 times a year and this is in my bottom two so far. I gave it two stars as the bed and pillows were comfy and clean. It was a shame as we had had a lovely day at Warner Brothers but the room put a damper on it.

Customer service was excellent, loved the staff and the mini vip bag they gave it to my daughter. She was really happy 😊
