"A very enjoyable breakfast."
Just had breakfast with my family and was exceptionaly impressed by both the food quality and even more so with the staff in the restaurant. Thalita, the chef, was very friendly and accomodating. The host, Thalles was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. One of the other guests mentioned to him that the croissants had all gone. He told them that a fresh batch was being cooked and should be ready in about 20 mins. They guest said they had finished their breakfast and were going to be leaving the dinning room very shortly to go back to their room. Thalles offered to bring some fresh croissants to her room when they were cooked. Exceptional service. I am away quite a lot at various establishments ,I would happly recommend and vist here for breakfast in the future. Well done both of you.

"Great staff"
Great stay. The room was big and clean with a very comfy bed. All the staff I encountered were efficient and helpful, in particular the super-smiley and Thalita and Thalles who were manning the breakfast room and brightening people's days. Thanks!

"Never again."
Room didn’t get below 30 degrees for the whole two night stay. Bath was like an ice rink and I fell and hurt myself. Staff said there was nothing they could do to help.

"terrible, dreadful, awful, hot and smelly."
I don’t know where to start …
I grew up in KL and still have family and friends here. We traveled from the US and spent 6 nights at the Kings Langley Premier Inn and it was absolutely awful.
For the first 3 nights we were on the second floor, room 202, and it was so incredibly hot with no AC and an underperforming room fan. The pillows smelled of damp, there was a hole in the wall beside the bed, the sink had gunk in it and was smelly. We only had 1 towel and it was impossible to get a decent temperature for a shower - it was either scorching or freezing and the pressure was terrible. The bin, which we found tucked away under the desk, was so gross I had to wash my hands after touching it - dribbles of “something” and stains and filth all over the outside.
The room was the first at the top of the stairs where there was a corridor door. We spent our entire 3 nights with that door banging as people came and went - ALL NIGHT EVERY NIGHT.
Our second 3 nights we were in a room downstairs - room 111. The corridor stank or damp, which wasn’t a great sign when walking to our new room. The room didn’t smell any better and even though we were downstairs rather than up, the temperature was insufferable. This place wants you to reuse your towels, yet there was nowhere to hang them to dry - the hooks on the back of the bathroom door had clearly fallen off and there were only holes. The duvet cover was stained and torn and the undershirt and mattress protector didn’t fit properly, which meant we had an uncomfortable night getting up and trying to reset the linens so that we didn’t have lumps and bumps under us. There was NO cold water in the sink - just a drip! So unless we were okay with using scalding water to brush our teeth we had to do them in the bath. The sink was also really smelly and it was easy to see why - underneath the non-removable plug there was slime and hair. And stench.
These rooms are not cheap! We paid over 100 pounds per night!
I will say that the desk staff were polite and some were friendly, although they were never actually there, so we had to press a bell to get them out. They were responsive and brought us towels and changed the pillows from damp stinky ones to basic okay ones. That really is the only plus. Nothing to do with the Premier Inn, but the steak house next door is dreadful too. No atmosphere, terrible food, overpriced and not a place to ever return to.

"Hot hot hot"
Arrived on Thursday 25 June to the hottest kings Langley in years and no air conditioning but was warned two fans were provided but had to keep going outside. The Friday was a family and the guys at reception let us sit in the empty breakfast room in the air conditioning which was a lifesaver on the hottest day of the year.special shout out to out to chef Thalita and her son host Talles who went above and beyond for us every day making sure we had bottled water each morning and our breakfasts were perfect. The staff and the location make up for the outdated hotel which really needs a good tidy up outside we stayed 5 days and saw so many people who had local weddings visiting Harry Potter and meeting families so if the hotel was updated a little I'm sure it would be a very popular hotel in the chain. Best stay we have had as a family of four in 2 rooms.
