    Chargeable short stay off-site parking is available opposite the hotel at Portmill Lane West Car Park. Please note this is for a maximum of 4 hours (no top ups) at a cost of £5.50 before 3pm, and a flat rate of £1.40 for up to 3 hours after. Charges apply from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday with free parking on Sundays and bank holidays. There is no additional charge with a valid blue badge displayed or for motorcycle parking in designated bays. Payment via cash, card or the PayByPhone App (location number 900004).

    Alternative off-site long stay parking is available at Woodside Car Park (SG4 9SG) and is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The cost for parking is £5.00 for a stay over 3 hours - with free parking available on Sundays and bank holidays, 2 electric vehicle charging bays are also available. Blue badge holders and motorcycle parking will come at no additional charge. Please note that payment is via card or the PayByPhone App (location number 900006).

    "Amazing customer service"
    I always go there when visiting Hitchin. Rooms are clean and nice and the bed is amazing. Also the customer service is superb. Really attentive and helpful
    "Hotel is not secure. Rooms opened and left open"
    Room was opened whilst out and left wide open. My son went out and shut the door, when he returned a couple of hours later the door was wide open propped by a chair from the room. Reported to the hotel who were supposed to ring us today but they did not do so. They have CCTV cameras as I asked them however they have clearly just fobbed us off. We stay at least 3 times a year but would never stay again. This hotel is a security risk and people should be wary of staying here. This has been reported to Premier Inn head office vendor Ben to investigate.

    A nice hotel in the Premier hotel chain and well located in the middle of Hitchin with plenty of public car parking opposite. Pretty much standard Premier rooms, small and clean; good for a comfortable night's sleep. Meals are somewhat basic, though there are plenty of options nearby.

    Exactly what I expect from this company, nice staff waiting for guests to arrive and ask about your journey, room was clean fresh and a good size. When you know what to expect and it ticks all the boxes you have no complaints just praise

    After finishing my shopping, I met my friend at the Premier Inn for breakfast. I wasn’t staying overnight, just stopping by for a catch up, and I’m so glad we did. The team were warm and welcoming, especially with the kids who ate for free and left happily full. The food was fresh, the service kind, and the atmosphere relaxed perfect for a chat over coffee. After a rocky start to the day, ending it there was a lovely reminder of how good simple things can be, good food, good company, and kind people. I’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Hitchin.

    Staying at Premier Inn Hitchin Town Centre, you can soak up the atmosphere of a historic English market town whilst enjoying our new generation bedrooms, each featuring an impressive 40" flat screen TV, bright, modern bathroom with large shower head and brand new, slumber-inducing, king-size bed. Our Hitchin hotel is in just the right place to explore the quaint town centre and its independent shops. If you're travelling to Knebworth to see a show, you'll be pleased to know we're only ten miles down the road. Also, London is a mere thirty-minute train ride away so a day-trip to the big city is within easy reach.
