    "Brilliant staff"
We stayed here for 1 night, from the moment we walked in Sammy took great care of us. He really is a credit to Premier inn and as I've worked in hospitality for many years, I know just how lucky you are to have such a dedicated hard working member of staff. He was not only doing reception but also serving drinks, clearing tables and taking orders. But never stopped smiling and chatting to customers and not for one second did he show that he was stressed out. Which he must have been due to lack of staff that day. Now on to your fantastic chef Andy, what an amazing character again so helpful, friendly and chatty and food was great. They work great as a team together which was lovely to see. I did not tell them this but I was staying here as I had brought some of my father's ashes, who passed away recently to put on my mothers grave so they could be together again. I had a very sad and emotional day and they brought a very much needed smile to my face. I think it's always worth letting a company know what a great job there staff are doing so I will contact you direct as I would like you to pass on this review to them both and extend my thanks, for everything. P.S If you mention hearing aids Andy will know who we are 😀
    "Break"
Wonderful stay. Andy and Sammy couldn’t have been more helpful. Great food and drinks. Fabulous service, would definitely recommend
    "Excellent staff highly reccomended"
All the staff at the hotel went above and beyond. They were extreemly friendly and helpfull. The rooms were all clean and very quite. Chef Andy particularly was great and looked after me as I have food intolerances. I would definitely reccoment this hotel and have booked to come back next week too.
"A bad experience - Stiflingly hot rooms, and extremely slow breakfast service"
We had a family room where me, my wife and two children stayed. We were looking forward to staying at the Premier Inn due to previous experiences, reputation and good night guarantee. Unfortunately our stay was not good. The room temperature was at 30 degrees C for the 3-day duration of the stay. The outside temperature was c25degC so the room was over-heated. The windows were on a restricted opening and so little air could enter. A fan was provided in the room, but this was undersized and inadequate. Unfortunately our experience was awful. The children were overheating and distressed. No one got much sleep and it greatly affected our stay. I raised with reception but nothing more was offered. We had to endure the heat. While the hotel did not have air-conditioning fitted, I do feel that more steps could have been taken to try and cool the room down, e.g. provision of stand-alone a/c units, or allowing the windows to open in rooms where older children are staying. In addition we opted to have the famous Premier Inn breakfast on one day. The buffet often available is a favourite for the kids. In this Premier Inn it is cooked to order, and we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Once taken is was another hour until the breakfasts arrived. Unfortunately my wife had a train to catch and could not stay for her breakfast. We had to order a taxi at additional cost so she could make her train. Having come down in good time for the breakfast we were much later to our visits then planned. At the end the supervisor explained that it was a full hotel hence the long wait, but I would have expected Premier Inn to have known this and staffed accordingly? With breakfast taking almost 2 hours, and 3 days of 30degrees heat with distressed children I’m afraid to say the stay was amongst the worst hotel experience I have encountered.
    "Fabulous Hotel"
We had a great stay Very nice restaurant Friendly staff We had a very nice stay. Hotel is near Shell petrol station though no EV facilities and nearest EV charging point is 7 minutes drive away. Very nice bar and restaurant with a great breakfast with excellent service from reception. Rooms were clean and a good size. Thank you
