Hatfield hotel

What a lovely place and what fantastic staff! Stayed here many times and always greeted with a friendly welcome. Although the hotel is undergoing building work with the addition of a large extension, we were not bothered at all. I understand that this work should be completed within the next month so it will be an even better experience. Great rooms, free on site parking, lovely staff members and a good nights sleep, at sensible prices - providing you book in advance! 😁

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Hatfield, and I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. Despite being located right next to a major road, the hotel was remarkably quiet—I got a peaceful night's sleep every night. The bedrooms were spotless, and the dining area was equally clean, spacious, and well-stocked. Every member of the staff I interacted with was polite, welcoming, and helpful. The highlight of the stay, however, was definitely the breakfast! While the second morning’s buffet was decent, the cooked-to-order breakfast on our first morning was exceptional. It arrived piping hot, perfectly presented, and completely non-greasy—a massive cut above the usual hotel breakfast. A huge special mention has to go to Chef Connor, who prepared it; his attention to detail really made our stay memorable! Lastly, even though there was building work going on right next door, it didn't cause a single bit of inconvenience or noise disruption during our stay, and there was still ample parking available. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Premier Inn Hatfield – 19 July (1 night)** I stayed for **one night on 19 July**. **Overall, it was a good stay**—the room was **clean and comfortable**, with a **good room size**. The staff were also **friendly and helpful**; they even offered **baggage storage**, and the team during **breakfast** was welcoming and attentive. However, there were a few serious downsides. There was **construction happening during my stay**, and it was **not communicated to me beforehand**. I made the reservation **almost a year in advance**, so I expected any disruption (especially something affecting access and parking) to be clearly flagged in advance. In addition, the **dual hotel entrances** were not available during this time, and this made arrival/departure difficult. There were also **no disabled parking spaces** available, and **contractor parking** was problematic—construction vehicles were parked in a way that **blocked other vehicles** in and out. I also experienced machinery being moved around the car park as contractors accessed the site to extend the hotel, which was stressful—particularly when I was returning to my car to leave. I appreciate that building work may be necessary, but the lack of prior notice and the impact on parking/access (especially for disabled guests) needs improvement.

Just spent 2 nights at Premier Inn Hatfield and have to say..had an absolutely faultless stay.. The rooms were clean and tidy but the best thing of all were the meals in the lovely recently refurbished restaurant ..all cooked fresh by a very talented young chef called Connor..Great bloke and even better chef..in fact all the staff were fantastic and very friendly and helpful..would definitely stay here again..cant wait to see the new rooms that are being built here.
