"Too close to the main road"
Very noisy - difficult to sleep The hotel is next to the main road and the sound proofing is very poor, bed was comfortable by pillows terrible.
"Convenient for our one night stay, but with points for improvement"
While far from perfect, it was quite convenient for our brief, one night stay in Hatfield back in April as me and my brother visited the area to see Welwyn Garden City (where we have a personal family connection) and also because my brother was doing a short course at the nearby University of Hertfordshire. The room we stayed in was relatively clean and mostly in a good condition, parking was quite convenient, there was a restaurant next door to the hotel complex where we had our dinner and breakfast, staff were mostly helpful and its location was convenient being off the A1 (M) Motorway and a short drive from both the University of Hertfordshire and Welwyn Garden City. My issues with this hotel is that some of the dinner/desert choices in the restaurant had finished, the menu was slightly limited, bed wasn't the comfiest so bit of a challenge to get sleep, there was no lift to the upper floor (okay for us but may potentially be a challenge for lots of luggage/heavy loads and if you're disabled unless you book the ground floor) and when we were going to hand our room keys the following day when checking out, there was no staff present even though when present, they were mostly quite helpful. So all in all, very convenient for one night, but has some points for improvement.
    "Don’t book early check in"
Booked early check in. We had travelled up to get ready for a wedding only to be told my room was not ready and the other guests hadn’t check out. I was told if you read the small print, premier inn can’t guarantee early check in but had already taken the extra 15 pounds. I had to wait an hour for my room and rush to get ready to attend my brother’s wedding. Breakfast was terrible the next morning
    "Perfect location"
Mattress was so comfortable. Slept so well. Very quiet. Excellent air conditioning. Nice staff, food was good. Very clean. Great place to stay. It was a perfect location for what I needed.
    "Amazing hospitality"
Amazing experience. Chef/waitress, Victoria, is an absolute saint, so helpful and hospitable and amazing food. Definitely visit again
