Ross-On-Wye hotel

Have stayed in many Premier Inns. Whilst I do understand they had to do something with the Beefeaters - always nearly empty in my experience and in need of refurb with sticky tables and stained carpets/chairs, they have gone too far. The eating areas - the Social - are too small. They have some very tall long tables which when I sat at my feet dangled and did not even reach the bottom rung of the stall. But my main complaint is about the food. Menu is small. Lots of the favourites have gone. I had smothered chicken breast. It is not a chicken breast. It is the most awful artificial chicken breast you can get. Plastic it feels like. Shiny. Wrong texture. Highly processed. Like the worst every chicken nuggets before Jamie Oliver shamed them. Probably made of tiny bits of chicken and I dread to think what else. I couldn't eat it. Next time I stay in a Premier Inn I will not eat there. I will find a local pub instead. Overall quite ghastly food.

Didn’t stay I broke down in the carpark and the staff were lovely it was horrible weather and they let us sit in the restaurant with a nice warm drink while we waited for recovery

Paid for breakfast for two nights, went down at 9.30 for 1st sitting, only beans and mushrooms available, after 15 mins waiting and complaining, sausages eggs and hash browns added, further 15 mins later asked for a manager for a refund, she said no and to complain online, she said they only had one oven and the food was their, still no bacon, tomato's or black pudding after waiting 35 mins so her comment was false, still had not been put in the oven to cook. went to Greggs over the road and chef was fagging outside of the reception, when they should be serving breakfast. This complaint has also been emailed in for full refund of paid breakfast x 4.

We recently stayed in a large family room whilst visiting family in the area. Check-in was speedy, friendly and hassle free, with the receptionist explaining about the car park registration. The room was very spacious even with beds for 4 people in it. It was clean and all the amenities needed for the stay including tea/coffee, hairdryer and large TV. The bathroom was bright, clean and offered the option of both bath and mixed use shower. The breakfast was good but the poor girls working were under a lot of pressure with being short staff. They was trying their best but cooked breakfast was a little wait and some tables hadn't been cleaned. The choice and quality of the food was good Check-out was quick and easy, just drop the keys in a box We have already booked our return visit next month to visit family again

Room good. Staff helpful and friendly. Downside is the restaurant. No chicken and no fish including prawns which made the menu very limited as my wife has to avoid certain spicy foods. Also don’t want to eat burgers or pizza otherwise we would go to a fast food place. Apparently it has been like this over last few days. We should have been warned of the limited menu when booking meal deal before arrival. May not be booking Premier Inn again. Breakfast good.
