"4 almost 5 stars"
We stayed in the Ross on Wye hotel, staff great, especially the chef, nothing was too much trouble, bed comfy, very clean which is important. Would of had 5 stars but floor boards all over were so creaky, need to sort this out really. But yeh great stay apart from that.

"Goodnights sleep"
Clean room and very comfortable bed
Was only a night's stay but very reasonably priced for the night
Paid extra for breakfast - good variety available
Had issues with card machine when we arrived so they asked that I came back later to pay which was no bother.

"Annoyed by parking fine at Ross On Wye Premier Inn"
I was booked in for 3 nights but unfortunately had to leave after only one.
Just be careful if you stay here as I have just been stung with a £25 parking fine.
I was NOT asked by the receptionist when I arrived if I had a vehicle or not & therefore did not register my car with reception, which apparently is what you are supposed to do.
I did not know you had to do this as obviously if I had been asked by the receptionist I would have just given her my car model & registration plate number.
I have therefore just received a parking fine from Horizon Parking for parking on there site illegally, even though I was a legitimate paying hotel customer!
Just be aware that you MUST register your car with reception or you will be charged for parking there illegally. Maybe they should train their staff to ask people?

"A Mixed review"
We were given a basic, clean quiet room for our two night stay. Staff were extremely helpful and booking in was easy. We had absolutely no issues with the service given by the staff on duty. They were however trying to deal with both the front desk booking people into the hotel, at the same time as serving on tables in the restaurant. Having booked the meal deal for the first night, we found the food left much to be desired. Dinner was poor and breakfast next morning whilst available had several obvious items missing including crockery. Muesli whilst on the menu, was unavailable in both standard or gluten free versions. Accompaniment such as Marmalade and strawberry jam were also unavailable. The staff seemed to spend time trying to find items and apologising for lack of them, none of which was their fault.
