"Good nights stay"
This hotel is ideal for us as we were going on a cruise the next day as close to the cruise terminal and city centre. Generally good, nice room big bed. We had breakfast in the morning which was a little chaotic due to the amount of people that were staying.
"Fire"
Stayed here Sun 14th-16th September 2025. Whilst in bed asleep at 10.58pm I'm awoken by a loud Fire Alarm directly in my room. So I get up, get dressed and go 5 floors down to find out from the Hotel staff that it's a false alarm. The staff seemed only too well knowing about what's happened as if they were involved somehow - having intimate knowledge of the situation. They were just far too relaxed. I've emailed this Premier Inn to give them a chance to explain and no one got back to me. Just shows the level of care. Thank you for ruining my nights sleep Premier Inn.
"Good location.Clean room."
Great location,clean & comfortable rooms. Welcoming & helpful staff. Breakfast is OK but if you only want a coffee, bacon on toast e.g it's not worth the money....there's plenty of places to eat in town. Wouldn't recommend food in the evening. It's just microwaved, deep fried, bland food. I have eaten there 3 times this year (stayed there many more times) & tried different things & all been very poor. The 24 hour carpark next door is really cheap.
"Great location. Clean rooms."
I stay in Southampton when on business as the location is great and it's central for shops, a wander etc. The rooms are always clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Over the summer the air-conditioning is a bonus. I sometimes have breakfast as it's what you expect & as you can have lattes, pastries, yoghurt, fruit etc it's fine. I've eaten a few times in the evening... had scampi once, a burger last visit, garlic mushrooms and all were not good. Everything is deep fried, swimming in oil, taste of oil and unpleasant to eat. The mushrooms & burger were very bad....rock hard and cooked badly....I couldn't eat them. My colleague had a pizza & he didn't eat it as it wasn't cooked well at all. I definitely will not eat there again. Cross over into town as there's every kind of food you can imagine......eat in restaurants or plenty of takeaways.
"Great location and Great premier Inn!"
This was a very brief experience as we were not local and doing a day excursion to the Isle of Wight. This premier Inn was the perfect location near to Southampton Docks. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well priced for the accommodation. The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea coffee making facilities. etc. Very modern, bed was superb so comfy. Excellent size bathroom. Would absolutely recommend, but there again I am already a fan of the Premier Inn, offering good value for money with excellent accommodation.
