"Not great, would not recommend"
The room wasn't very clean and spacious for family of 4 but most of all the toilet would always leak after flushing basically flooding the floor.
"A pleasant stay"
We stayed here for one night prior to a cruise. The hotel was quiet, clean and functional. The reception staff were friendly and pleasant. We had our evening meal at the adjoining Beefeater as part of the Meal Deal. The food was hot and the staff very helpful. Breakfast the next morning was very good indeed with everything hot and plentiful. We usually stay at the big Premier Inn near the docks pre cruise but in future we will be staying here.
"Good hotel"
Clean and tidy room. Good towels - tea tray - comfortable bed - reasonable wifi for free. Location good for visiting Southampton west side area. Pay to park at £5 a day to park. Breakfast in pub next door very good plenty of choice and variety. Only criticism of pub was that coffee machine is in a stupid place making queuing tricky.
"No refund!"
I booked a room by mistake, miscommunication between myself and my sister. I asked for a refund and they refused at first, I explained my situation to length as my family were going through something major at the time. They then agreed to give me a full refund. After 3 weeks I hadn't received the refund! So I contacted Premier inn and they have now refused to give me a refund, they even said they were going to listen to the phone call and they are still denying me a fully refund! I am absolutely fuming!
"Average"
£3 parking.. normal premier inn rooms. Corridors could do with new carpets and a lick of paint. Shower in room was terrible. Does nobody check these things. Paid for evening meal/breakfast. The pub isn’t all that. Sat at a table just behind the meet till. Seat is discusting, fake leather all peeling off, cobwebs above around the light, dirty in general. Had steak chips and peas. Steak was very nice. The chips were awful. Must have been cooked in sun tan oil. The breakfast was an improvement, the bacon and sausage weee very nice. I do like black pudding but didn’t have any as it looked too greasy. All in all it’s just an average premier in with a less than average pub tagged on to it.
