Southampton (Eastleigh) hotel

Ideal place to stay if doing a cruise. Bed really comfortable. Room was hot had to use the air con. Didn't like the step when getting out of the shower as I forgot it was there and it isn't a small drop Restaurant doesn't open till 5pm So if you want that 1st holiday drink you will have to wait. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Darren was amazing and went over and beyond to accommodate my allergies and totally understood. Thank you.Food was lovely too. Well breakfast thats a different story. Firstly felt sorry for the 1 girl dealing with all the customers. At one point she was dealing with at least 9 tables also trying to restock the cereals bread fruit ect and take orders. Sausages and poached eggs were lovely. Bacon and mushrooms were awful. Husband said hash brown was very greasy. They could improve on the toilet paper it was very thin and very cheap quality.

We had a room above the entrance and had to close the window as people where smoking outside When we asked at reception we were told know one has ever complained about the smoke going into their rooms Seeing the amount of food left on the plates at Breakfast we should of gone somewhere else but for convenience we tried to have a cooked breakfast but it was just warm , over cooked and tasted reheated When we spoke to the manager she again said no-one had complained Although there were several people queuing up to speak to her about the disappointment of this Premier Inn It definitely needs some one from head office to pay them a visit to see how badly this Is being managed

Noisy room. Too close to traffic. AC was extremely noisy to the point we could sleep. Dinner was overcooked cooked. Not a good start to our holiday.

Avoid, unless you intend to eat elsewhere. The rooms are fine. The restaurant is very, very poor. Slow service, cold food, missing food items. Replacement meals cold as well.

Reception staff when we arrived kept us waiting then didn't apologise when they finally came to the desk. No smiles, eye contact or actual greeting. The room as always for a Premier Inn was lovely. However the service in the restaurant was awful. Three staff members and nobody seemed to want to serve drinks at the bar. Sat in the dining room at 7 but finally got food at 8.15 after complaining. Second night decided to have a drink in the bar again and the service was worse. Two staff members ignoring customers, one trying his best. We will not use this Premier inn again.
