    There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available at Grosvenor Square multistorey car park (SO15 2BE), a 3-minute walk away from the hotel. Charges running from 8am til midnight at £11 for 24hrs, free outside of these hours. There is an outside car park available next door( Grovesnor north car park). Height restrictions: 6' 3", The Grovesnor Multistorey is not free to disabled badge holders however they can display their badge in the outside north car park.

    We found the hotel very warm ! It would be nice to open a window . Although you can cool the room to a degree the duvet is so thick it’s impossible to sleep .home duvet is a 4 tog all year round ! It Would be nice if there was a lighter option like a blanket instead . I found the bed hard as well . Personal probably . The good in the restaurant gives good choice and it can get very busy . Definitely need more staff in an evening as we waited 25 mins before we walked out just waiting for someone to take our order ! The poor girl was taking orders , serving food and checking in the queue. A certain staff member was amazing ! Chris , he would always acknowledge us and go out of his way to serve us . He is a credit to the company . Polite , friendly and always had a smile . It seemed like he never left to go home !
    "A Lovely Couple of Weeks in Southampton"
    Stayed here with my mother for 2 weeks in September, and it's a nice hotel with good accessibility to a lot of places in the city. Highly recommend looking around the nearby food outlets (Piecaramba was great), and the food in the hotel is pretty good too (the Thai Green Curry was a highlight). Special mention to staff member Chris, a friendly face who was always eager to help. Overall, we enjoyed our time here :)

    We stayed here 2 nights before our cruise and it was a good location and base to get around. food was great value for money and very tasty
    "Could do better"
    Long journey from Scotland only to be met by the most unenthusiastic receptionist ever. He said we hadnt booked any rooms at 1st (we had 2 booked and payed for 2 nights) he couldnt find the bookings which we then had to find the references via a poor internet connection) in general he couldnt be bothered). The rooms were dark and very tired with a funny smell in the hall. One positive was the food which was good and we purchased the meal deal which is great value.
