    There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available at Grosvenor Square multistorey car park (SO15 2BE), a 3-minute walk away from the hotel. Charges running from 8am til midnight at £11 for 24hrs, free outside of these hours. There is an outside car park available next door( Grovesnor north car park). Height restrictions: 6' 3", The Grovesnor Multistorey is not free to disabled badge holders however they can display their badge in the outside north car park.

    "Week-end stay for local derby"
    Stayed for 2 nights 13th/14th Sept. Up from Cornwall for the local derby(Southampton v Portsmouth) Hotel was very busy pre cruise passengers etc. But the staff on duty were excellent both in reception and bar/restaurant. Needed to make a slight change to our booking for the pre booked meal deal which was sorted by Claudia without any problem. Chris in the restaurant was brilliant and friendly. Considering how busy the hotel was during our stay the staff on duty were outstanding. Rooms very good and clean. The car park behind the hotel is ideal. We have stayed in many Premier Inns and this ranks near the top in our opinion and without doubt stay again on our next visit to Southampton.
    "A Comfortable Retreat in Southampton"
    The service over our 2 day stay was excellent from all staff. Special mention to Chris who waited on us in the restaurant. He treated us as if we were his only customers. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable.

    Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Rooms are terribly in need of renovation. No proper window. Dirty and smelly corridors and very standoffish staff.
    "two single beds pushed together as a double"
    When I book a double room I expect the bed to have a double mattress , not two singles pushed together and only held together by a non-fitted sheet. The securing catch which was meant to hold the two beds together was missing which meant they kept coming apart during the night
    "Could do more"
    This premier inn Southampton was very handy for the cruise ship , it's self check in was a little complicated especially if your not computer minded and I felt that you weren't offered any help It was just Please use self check in Even if there was a large queue
