"Helpful and pleasant Staff as well as good value!"
We didn't stay at the hotel but booked in for some food before the "Take That" Concert on Friday evening (29th May). The girls at the Reception were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
We were really impressed with the service in the restaurant and the quality of the food we had. There was an offer on of 2 cocktails for £12.00 which is such good value for money. James behind the bar was a very pleasant, helpful member of staff and I hope he sees this review and gives himself a pat on the back!! Thank you James.

"Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in"
Premier inn Southampton City Centre. Dirty cold room. Window wouldn’t close. Beside busy railway line. Skirtings, chair in room were filthy and shabby. Kettle didn’t work and only heating was an electric plug in radiator. Complained and took 3 attempts to get the new room door open. Again this room was shabby. Took staff 5 minutes to get window closed. We then found twigs both under and in the bed. Complaint was ignored. During our stay only one lift. Took over 20 mins to stop at our floor. No one at reception to lodge complain. Emailed hotel when we got home and their response was sorry and hoped we’d come back. Never again. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or customer service to my worst enemy

Good stay for a budget hotel.
Car parking is limited, alternative is close by but accessed via a subway which isn’t the nicest.
