    "Family stay"
Stayed here for one night before boarding a cruise ship and it was a lovely stay. We had a nice walk into the town which took around 15/20 minutes with little legs. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast where the kids ate free, the food was all fresh and delicious. Would stay here again if in the area.
"Do not book here! Absolute dive hole"
Absolute dive. Place is falling to bits. Staff are run off their feet. When we booked it said parking and air con and we get here and no where near enough parking and no air con as it's ‘broken’. The car park only gives you 15 mins so by the time we got checked in as all 3 machines in reception was out of order we had to pay £4 to unload the car to move it a 10 min walk away! Floors stinking, staff cursing at each other, rubbish everywhere, rooms 27+ deg and a horrible racket outside as you have to have the windows open. Good luck you’d be mad to like this place
    "It’s alright"
I stay here once a month (when it is not hot), this is my fourth stay. I stay here for the price and convenience of the food deal and book early otherwise I would stay elsewhere. It’s a bit of a dump but the beds are comfy, the food is alright and quick if you do not go at peak times, the beer is not great, there is a train line at the back it doesn’t bother me but would not be great for many. Staff seem alright. Easy walk to the centre or the football ground which is in a dive of an area.
    "TERRIBLE HOTEL"
TERRIBLE HOTEL My wife, two daughters and I stayed here on the 16th August 2025 and it was dreadful. Upon arrival we were met with an apology from the staff that the air ventilation system in the hotel was broken and the whole hotel would be hot. Fans were provided but due to windows not being able to open more than an inch or two, the room temperatures were unbearable. We raised this under the premier inn good night guarantee and this was rejected. We had to use wet towels just to stay sane. Do not stay here are the building is not fit for purpose and if the ventilation system goes down temperatures cannot be maintained. Also, Premier Inn do not honour their guarantee and played the “no air con” get our despite the problem not being with that but the air ventilation system instead. Worst nights sleep we have ever had in a hotel and just a “tough luck” response for the customer care team.
    "Great customer service"
Great service from team member Sara she is what every good premier inn needs always happy to help with anything during our stay
