"The most disappointing stay in a long time."
Car parking an absolute shambles with cars wildly abandoned all over the place outwith any form of marked bay. Took over half an hour for a staff member to appear to check in - self service machines kept rejecting check in attempt and no keys were available anyway should it have worked. Stairwell was not clean, discarded food & drink and even a vape lying in places. Hallway along first floor to room felt unclean and in a state of decorative disrepair. The room itself was a good size, travel cot single bed and double bed. There was also an 'anti roll' pillow for the single bed to stop a youngster from falling out which we yoused for our 2 year old and it worked brilliantly being that she wriggles like mad in her sleep! Room itself was OK apart from the AC being broken and all the mirrors visibly dirty where someone had even kissed and left the mirror on the wardrobe. The bathroom mirror was also dirty and the bathroom bin hadn't been emptied. The worst part was my sister and brother in law were also staying in this hotel with my family, they'd been checked into a room and when they entered their room another guest was asleep with his family in it... It turns out the hotel had assigned this guest the room but hadn't checked them in properly on the system so the room still showed as available This was deeply distressing for both parties involved and should never have happened. All in a deeply shambolic stay from a chain which should be so much better.
    "Very bad"
This is the 3rd Premier Inn we've visited on this trip (Heathrow and Witney were fine) and one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in. On Trip.com they advertised AirCon and free parking but no AirCon in this hotel and £13 a day for parking. The Duty Manager named Malwina was incredibly combative and was going to cancel our room if we kept 'making problems'. Traffic noise, stained carpets, found a used towel in the wardrobe drawer and truly horrible customer service. We wanted to move to another hotel but we're told (after an hour!) than they don't give refunds and we were 'on our own'.
    "Non Premier Inn"
Air con in reception nice….. Got onto our floor, a nice smell of dirty wet dog and stains on carpet. Get to our room, no air con, dust on shelf you can write your name in (nearly put clothes on it) Toilet, the handle and backplate every time you used it fell off. Over night - people knocking on doors, running through corridor so very noisy indeed and normally a bomb wouldn’t wake me but was up most of the night.
"I Strongly advise against staying here!"
We have stayed at lots of Premier Inns around the country, but this is far and away our worst experience. We were told at Check-in that the Air Conditioning was only working in the Restaurant/Bar area (none in any of the Bedrooms). We were offered a sheet to be used instead of the Duvet, told that a portable fan had been placed in each room and advised to sleep with the Bedroom window open, which lead to a very poor nights sleep, as it was uncomfortably hot and we were kept awake by the passing trains feet below our open Bedroom window! The Barman was unable to pour a pint of Guinness, we had to wait an hour and a half for a Restaurant table, then a further 75 minutes between placing our food order and receiving it. When we asked the Manager about our food, one of the kitchen staff arrived at our table to explain that they were trying their best and only had two kitchen staff. I think the staff were doing what they could but were desperately under resourced and apparently poorly trained. Thankfully we only had to endure one night but I would advise against staying here until they've got their act together. Shocking.
    "Dirty Dump!!!"
Thank goodness we were only staying 1 night! The place is a dump & by far the worst Premier Inn we've ever stayed at! The aircon was broke so it was a very uncomfortable to sleep!! The carpet in our room was filthy & the loo could have done with a bucket of bleach!! The rats in the carpark was our entertainment for the night!!! Will never stay in this filthy hole again!!
