      "1 Night Pre Cruise Stay."
We stayed for 1 night pre cruise. Definitely noticed a reduction in staff from the introduction of the self check in machines. Checked in and was advised that the air con wasn't working and fans where in the room . Rooms where roasting! But we made the most of a bad situation and we where only there for 1 night. Room was clean and comfortable and staff at reception and restaurant where very friendly considering they where rushed off their feet and couldn't do enough to help . Hotel in a good location for walking into the city centre for food. We had breakfast in the morning before we headed to the port and couldn't fault the variety or quality
      "Dirty and no air conditioning"
Arrived to a dirty room, dirty towels on the floor, unmade bed. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, not because it’s broken, just that they don’t have any.. I barely slept because it was so hot. Food is too expensive so I ordered to the hotel. Staff were okay, resolved the unclean room in 30 minutes. Wouldn’t go here again, go to the other premier inn in Southampton or another hotel company

Want to thank Sara Kasia Nicos and Tahhe for their kindness and care. Food was lovely and nothing too much trou le. Thank you
      "Needs a total refurbishment"
No air conditioning, noisy train track and terrible condition. Needs a total refurbishment. Smells, worn carpets, dirty doors and worn beds. Staff ok but everything else is just not up to standard. Didn’t try food , I definitely wouldn’t stay again.
      "Loud, hot and busy"
I don't recommend this hotel, especially if you are travelling for work. There was no air con, despite the fact that we stayed there during a heat wave. They provided us with a very low-quality fan, which really wasn't enough. One side of the hotel looks out into a very busy main road and the other to the railway, so keeping the windows open wasn't an option. There was a fire alarm at night because someone broke the glass of the fire detector, so we were awakened by it. The hotel seems to attract a pretty rowdy crowd, so I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a place to stay for a work trip and want a good night's sleep. Breakfast was really busy and I waited for an hour to get the hot breakfast I had ordered. All in all, for the price we paid I expected to have a much better experience, and will be looking for alternatives next time.
