"Hot rooms and terrible parking, but more than redeems itself."
I could probably give this less than 4/5 but I won’t because it has enough redeeming qualities. Let’s get the bad out the way first: My room had no working AC at all, there was a fan provided but it didn’t do much. Room was swelteringly hot. The parking situation is a disaster. Seems to be massively over provisioned for disabled parking, meaning it can be difficult to get a space despite all disabled spaces being empty. Privately managed too. And then the good: The food. Easily the best food I have ever had in a hotel chain in the UK. Burgers, chicken goujons, curries, steak, everything I had during my stay was absolutely top class. I can’t overstate enough just how good it all was, and cheap for a city centre hotel too. It’s very clean, the room is a decent size, water gets nice and hot with decent pressure too. Overall I would stay here without a second thought if I didn’t have a vehicle to park. City centre location is walking distance from just about everything.
    "We'll stay again"
This hotel could be amazing. 11 of us arrived and we were there at 10am. I wasn't sure we would have much luck even paying for early check in. Marcon was simply amazing. He's a credit to the hotel. Got us 4 double rooms straight away. Asked if we were happy to take a double and they'd have sofa made up for our little one ASAP. We were delighted. We said we wanted breakfast and by now breakfast was due to choose in 10 mins so he phoned up explained we would be up in 10 and there were 11 so to make sure there was enough food. The restaurant staff are lovely, so friendly even though we were running in as they should have closed. When we got to room the extra bed was done. We ate in restaurant that night and food was lovely and service great. Same for breakfast next day. The only fault was it was roasting in room and aircon wasn't working. Other rooms def weren't as bad as ours though. So only 1 in 5 was roasting. We're planning another night there in September and I'll ring in advance and ask for room in the shade. With the amazing staff and location this could be great if they just freshened it up and sorted aircon. But staff, food and cleanliness great for our 5 rooms. Thank you.

On arrival, Marcin greeted us with a lovely smile on his face along with a welcome. got us checked in and told us everything we needed to know! As we were leaving to depart our first cruise, Marcin helped us greatly with what we needed to do, from allowing us to leave our luggage in the hotel so we could pop away and get some food, to printing off our luggage labels for us. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a nicer man so grateful. Would definitely recommend!
    "1 Night Pre Cruise Stay."
We stayed for 1 night pre cruise. Definitely noticed a reduction in staff from the introduction of the self check in machines. Checked in and was advised that the air con wasn't working and fans where in the room . Rooms where roasting! But we made the most of a bad situation and we where only there for 1 night. Room was clean and comfortable and staff at reception and restaurant where very friendly considering they where rushed off their feet and couldn't do enough to help . Hotel in a good location for walking into the city centre for food. We had breakfast in the morning before we headed to the port and couldn't fault the variety or quality
    "Dirty and no air conditioning"
Arrived to a dirty room, dirty towels on the floor, unmade bed. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms, not because it’s broken, just that they don’t have any.. I barely slept because it was so hot. Food is too expensive so I ordered to the hotel. Staff were okay, resolved the unclean room in 30 minutes. Wouldn’t go here again, go to the other premier inn in Southampton or another hotel company
