Southampton City Centre hotel

Excellent Staff, great location, good room, clean, noise level was average, service was excellent, amenities were average

Great staff, but the fact the ac was not working was a serious issue. I knew before i paid but thought it wouldn’t be bad, but the heat was too much during the summer. They placed 3 fans in the room though, and always had ice water in the reception for Everyone to drink. All in all, staff are great but hotel needs renovations

Plain, clean and spacious. All the facilities you'd want. I liked the food and the staff were a friendly bunch. No complaints at all.

I like premier inn as you know what you’re getting. Not this time! Hotel was bordering on filthy in the corridors, carpets were just awful. And the lack of air con made for a very unpleasant sleep. The bed was comfortable as they normally are, but only king size when usually premier inn offer superking. The water in the sink was scalding hot, couldn’t rinse hands for long and teeth cleaning was a challenge! The one star is for the breakfast and the helpful staff in the bar/restaurant. I’d avoid this hotel at all costs unless you’re absolutely desperate for somewhere to stay.

Thought as not far from city centre that it wiuld be a good place to stay. At the end of a very long busy day all that was needed was a bit of food, and a bed. Manageress was freindly enough, but the Hotel and rooms were in a grubby dirty state, lack of air conditioning with very noisy fans to compensate, a hot room with scuffs on the walls cobwebs on the cieling and damp in the bathroom. As well as unfinished work in the halls. First reaction was to get out of there and look for another hotel. The managersess offered free breakfast, and all but begged us to stay, offered another room, which was no better, and confirmed we made the correct descision to leave. Booked in to West Quay, and what a difference it was. Premier in customer services gave a full refund for the booking. This hotel really lets the chain down. Feed back from locals on the hotel was much the same avoid it like the plague.
