      "Terribly hot no sleep"
Do not go to this hotel during the summer. It has no air con and we never slept a wink. All the staff are lovely and brought us more fans but this never touched to the sides,we had to sleep with the front door open. But we never slept at all. Avoid avoid avoid. We was going to have breakfast but we had enough of the hotel by now so left early very tired.
      "Poor communication"
Upon arrival, I was extremely disappointed to find that the air conditioning in my room was not functioning. The room was unbearably hot, making it nearly impossible to rest or sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, there were restrictions on opening the windows, which meant there was no way to allow fresh air in or reduce the temperature inside the room. What concerns me most is that there was no prior notice or mention on your website that the air conditioning was out of service
      "Worst Premier Inn"
Worst Premier Inn we have stayed in. Needs some serious investment. The rooms were boiling hot and so outdated. Breakfast was a big waste of money. Location for our venue in town was good. Car park is quite small but at least it’s on site. The staff are lovely but we would never return.
"Avoid if you don’t like your bedroom 50+c"
By far the worst premier inn I’ve stayed at in the last 20years. I’m a corporate customer and have stayed with premier inn 500+ times and usually good bed, good restaurant attached and a good nights sleep. This one was tacky and the room was a sauna to put it mildly. Car park dark and dodgy. Beds not your usual prem inn standard. I must say the staff for breakfast were good. However Def avoid city centre. West quay is far superior for a stay in Southampton.
      "Warm and welcoming, brilliant staff!"
We can’t rate this hotel highly enough, Sara the duty manager was very welcoming, we hadn’t booked a table but she managed to fit us in later in the evening. She wouldn’t let us leave her a tip and said she is happy because we are, she had a technical problem but still managed to accommodate us, and we had a lovely meal, the fish was very fresh! The bar man made me a pinacolada which was the first one he had ever made and it was best one I have ever had! The atmosphere in the restaurant was very warm and welcoming!
