"Pretty decent hotel"
Booked this hotel as we were attending a concert at st Mary’s
Check in was very busy but the self check in was quick and easy
Room was clean, air conditioned and bed was super comfy
Had light meal which was fine (nothing to shout about but perfectly edible)
Transport links very close (bus and train)
Parking outside but it is chargeable!

"A grim bathroom plug hole"
A group of us stayed here for the Take That concert. We arrived prior to 3pm check in so left our luggage in the car. The hotel is located right next to the train station so ideal transport link. After the concert, it was late when we got back and I was told the desk is manned 24 hours. Another guest let us in and we used the digital kiosk to check in, simple process. The room was comfortable with air conditioning and the Hypnos mattress gave us a good sleep, however it felt like there were elephants above us walking backwards and forwards all night so if a light sleeper use ear plugs!
The only disappointment for me was the cleanliness in the bathroom, there were remnants from a previous guest in the bathroom sink and I did struggle to wash my hands and fill the sink knowing what was there with the rotating plug disc.

Had a late dinner (post9pm) and Jasmine who served me was cheery, organised and polite. I felt bad eating that late, but she was just as cheery as if I had walked in at 6pm. The food was delivered quick and tasted great

"Poor Customer Service"
As a wheelchair user travelling alone I had no offers of help or taking my bag from me. I waited ages at reception for someone to come and then had no apology for keeping me waiting. One door was opened for me and then I was left to struggle with my bag. I was only in room 6 so was expecting them to help me open my door, but no. Just very poor service. I’ve stayed here quite a few times but this time wasn’t a pleasant start to my holiday. The extra pillows were also placed on the top shelf which obviously isn’t great for an accessible room. I managed to reach them with the help of a coat hanger but more thought is needed.
