Southampton Airport hotel

Shocked and very disappointed, never stayed in a Premier hotel before and personally never again. Felt like I was ordering a Burger at a fast food establishment not booking into a hotel. Had to look for a member of staff to check in and he was more interested talking to his friends than booking me in. Room was clean, bed not comfortable because two singles stuffed together. Toilet struggled to flush, shower controls felt like were going to pull of wall. One coffee packet, sugar everywhere that hadn't been cleaned. The final straw for me was all you can eat breakfast, no veggie/vegan sausages only bacon, staff friendly but burnt the bacon to the point barely edible, was told by member of staff take a while which it didn't, so had no time to eat the ceral etc first. The rest of the help yourself cooked food was cold and hadnt been topped up, so way from all you can eat. Overall woke up tired and left hungry, with nobody to complain too other than a Burger self service machine. Never again will stay in the usual hotels, but never a Premier first impressions last. Very disappointed after seeing your television campaigns

Very tasty and fresh meal, served with a smile by Jason in a clean environment. The side salad was particularly enjoyable: very fresh and a decent size.

Self check-in isn't my favourite way to check in, it's impersonal and more suited to Airbnb. Self check-in isn't reflected in pricing either. Toilet was not great in room 340, as you sat in bath and look across you're at the right level to see years of accumulated mould / grime. Room itself was very clean and as you'd expect from a premier Inn. If you like ale then avoid the meal deal. British ale isn't included, they don't make this clear when booking. Included is peroni 330ml at £5.40 but Worthington is a £1.50 uplift. On no planet is Worthington worth an equivalent of £6.90. Parking is £10 but spaces are not guaranteed. We've stayed here before and been impressed but this time gets a lot of 4/10. You'll probably find better in the local area. Not recommended

Fantastic experience at the hotel I stayed there before and the hotel staff are amazing and are very friendly and helpful

As a group we stayed the night before our cruise. We ate their in the evening and Jason served us. He was excellent and was a good representative of Premier Inn. He was cheerful, attentive and had a nothing is too much trouble attitude. After dinner I released that I had lost my watch glass. This watch was very old and was my grandads so very special. Jason helped us look for it with no luck. Later that night a member of our group had a knock at the door and it was Jason with the watch glass. Such excellent service and Premier Inn should be proud to have him as a employee. Thank you so much Jason you were exceptional.
