      "Meh, not up to usual Premier inn standards"
      Don't know how they have got this so wrong! It seems Premier Inn since installing the check in kiosks have taken this as an opportunity to cut back on staff and it shows! Arrived to no one on reception .Four buzzer rings and 10 mins later and someone appeared. Got checked in and headed to room and was greated with a lingering musty smell and a stuffy room . Went down to the restaurant for food and it was chaotic ! Not enough space in the restaurant to accommodate the amount of guests. Asked could we sit at the bar and order some food and was told no. 3 staff working between the bar and restaurant floor. Got a table 45 mins later and was just handed menus and pointed a to a table at the back and told sit down there. 😂. Upholstery at the tables were ripped and sponge poking through on the seats. Food just ok. We have stayed in alot of Premier inns but our last 2 visits have been disappointing.
      "A Decent Premier Inn"
      This Premier Inn is a decent one. Good breakfast and excellent food allergy process - my daughter is allergic to peanuts and the staff took her allergy really seriously. Easy checkin, loads of parking, room clean and bedding nice and clean, good bathroom. Air con was pretty good. Location is 10 mins from the port and right next to the airport. Vending machines in lobby and other amenities - this was good! Do it yourself check in but you can also ring a buzzer and someone will come. Taking a star away because we found 2 dead flies in the window sill, one morning there was no orange juice at breakfast, and the WIFI wasn’t great.
      "Great location and very comfy, clean rooms!"
      Spacious and pleasant rooms, comfy beds, big tv screen and very clean. The hotel is very conveniently located for the airport, hire car companies and the railway station. Over the years, have tried various hotels in general area but this one ticks all the boxes for my Southampton/Eastleigh based stays. I find the staff, particularly Raman, to be very professional, friendly and helpful. I look forward to my next stay!
      "What a joke"
      after 3 requests travel cot arrived with no mattress, staff said supplying one was 'safety concern' another referred to his colleague as an 'idiot' and found a mattress. Restaurant took 2 hours to feed myself and 2 children - it wasnt busy. allocated £32 credit to the bill for the 2 meal deals we paid for (£59.99)
      "Great Airport Location"
      The location was perfect, close to the airport terminal & my early morning coach pick up. No auto check in screens were working so I had to wait to be checked in manually. My room smelt a bit stale & was quite dark, I felt it could do with an upgrade. The bed was very comfortable & the room quiet so a good nights sleep was had. I ate dinner in the restaurant which was a good sized portion & quite tasty. Staff in this area were average & didn't seem too fussed about diners. I stayed twice in May 2025 & my review applies to both nights.
