    "Great hotel and fab customer service"
    Premier inn so consistent! Comfy beds, good restaurant. Special shout out to Jason in the restaurant who was so friendly and helpful. Fabulous customer service!

    Stay and food was excellent. Lucas from breakfast team is a great asset to the team, always smiling and goes out of his way to help the guests.

    Very similar to most Premier Inns - comfortable beds and standard bedrooms. We had to ask twice to have a couple of cleaning/ room set up issues sorted - staff were very helpful and did come up straight away the second time. The car parking is terrible - not enough spaces (we were able to park 1 out of 3 nights) and costs £10 per night (this is the discounted rate!) There is the Parkway station multistorey but this is £9 to £18 per night so be prepared.
    "VERY Slow check in"
    Check in is a DISASTER. Kiosks are glitchy and the front desk people are less than helpful. Took an hour for a process that should have taken a few minutes. Room was fine, clean and bed was good/new. Be prepared for the service though. Also, paid £6.50 for a Guinness so they really like to hit you in the pocket
    "Excellent stay overall"
    The new robot check-in machines take a bit of getting used to. I could not get it to read the QR code on my phone. Thankfully, a member of staff who was going off duty stayed and helped us check-in via the new machine. I might have missed the part of activating the room key card. Apart from that, our stay was excellent. The staff are really pleasant and helpful throughout the hotel. I really like having a proper bar within which we can chill out and spend time with friends and or family that might not be guests. Sadly, something Premier Inn is working hard to remove in most of their hotels. Buying an overpriced bottle of beer is not a good replacement for a draught pint. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening (Meal Deal) meal and, as I said, chilling out in the snug bar afterwards. Breakfast is hard to beat though, unfortunately, the fried eggs tend to be either overcooked or left out so long the yolks solidify. Is it possible to order eggs freshly cooked? The mushrooms have no flavour as they lack any seasoning. I really like scrambled eggs but am cautious when I don't know how long it has been on the hotplate. Certainly, at this Premier Inn the chef does seem to replace the food on the hotplate quite frequently. The car park is reduced for staying guests but has very limited parking and therefore car parking is on a first come, first served basis.

Fly off to Amsterdam, Geneva or countless other destinations across Europe. Or take off to explore some fascinating history at Southampton's SeaCity Museum or Tudor House and Garden. Or pay a flying visit to Paultons Family Theme Park and spend some time with Peppa Pig. Then come into land back at the hotel, with a meal at our restaurant and a flight to the land of nod in a comfy bed.
