Portsmouth (Havant) hotel

We stayed at this Premier Inn on a Saturday night in the school summer holidays and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was more modern than other Premier Inns we've stayed in and crucially had air con given the intense heat we've had all summer. We were staying at the back of the hotel and heard no noise whatsoever although there was a louder hum from the nearby A road towards the front of the property. Staff were very pleasant and helpful - the one downside was the speed of the service at the Rusty Cutter restaurant (formerly a Beefeater) on the Saturday evening where there was seemingly one person doing front of house for the whole place. We'd come back if in the area and needed a cheap(ish) stay though.

From check in to check out it was lovely. Staff were really accommodating and welcoming. There was a commotion when we arrived with another guest causing drama but the lovely lady on the reception kept calm at all times and in my opinion needed an award for it. We didn't have dinner in the pub but did stop for a drink. We asked for some milk to take back to the room for little one which was no trouble for the staff. The room was perfect, clean, comfortable and just what you want for a nights stay. Breakfast was lovely, again staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, even packed us a little pastry box for us to take with us as we had to go. Will definitely return. The staff that work here are amazing and need a pay rise! Thank you.

A great stay at Premier Inn, which offered good value for money. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well kept. Great location for travelling into both Chichester and Portsmouth. We used tge onsite resturant for breakfast. Service and food were both great- just what was needed for a long day of sightseeing. Thank you for a great stay!

Was in room, side off A27, with windows & curtains closed, still could here the traffic. Carpark was full of workers van, parked in disabled bay, apparently staff are able to ask them to move. Not that clean is common areas. Bedroom looking old with marks on walls and toilet door. Bathroom mouldy and looking old.
