Upon check in was met by Yvette and a warm smile check in was smooth. We were in room 126 all the rooms have been refurbished and are spacious and clean. There had been a little note with a box of chocolates left for us welcoming us to the hotel lovely touch and very thoughtful. As it was Easter they had hidden eggs around the hotel lucky for our child as he found 2 you took them to reception for a prize again it’s the little touches. I asked Yvette for extra pillows and she bought them to the room with a warm smile if I could give more stars I would

"What perfection should be"
Ok so we arrived and we booked in. To say the service from Yvette was well above and beyond is an understatement , she was friendly and insured we were happy with anything we needed.
It’s been a while since we stayed here and thought we would try again now the refurb was done.
The shock was greatly appreciated. The rooms are amazing. I have stayed in many premier inns and this one takes the biscuit.
They are spacious, clean and the showers are superb. It’s like going to a 5 star room.
We asked for extra pillows and Yvette without hesitation delivered.
There was a lovely gesture welcoming us and made us feel so valued.
This will be our main stop when staying in Portsmouth. Yes by a motorway but as I sit here I cannot hear any traffic at all and it is busy out there.
I must say that as a frequent traveller for business and leisure this hotel is a great advert for premier inn on how standards should be and what really great trained staff are. Well done. Highly recommended.

"Very disapointed"
The room we had was the smallest room we have stayed in a premier inn, up in the roof space with sloping ceiling.We were charged again in the restaurant for our evening meals even though we had a pre booked meal deal and had to take it up with the rooms receptionist to sort out the issue.The following morning the water supply was off and we could not shower, flush the toilet or brush our teeth. Absolutely terrible.
