"Fab Air Con and cool nights sleep in Heatwave"
Very helpful flexible staff and comfy hotel. The snr mgt and Directors in Premier Inns should take note. The older Premier Inns are far better than the new ones. Stronger cold air con that actually makes the rooms cool, deep baths and windows that open for fresh air. Free parking also with good restaurant next door.

"Above and beyond staff"
Just spent 5 nights here and the staff were absolutely brilliant. All so kind and personal. 3 of them instantly recognised that I would watch the World Cup on my phone at dinner and would always sit me by the TV and turn it on so I could watch it more comfortably. They were extremely nice and accommodating. I didn’t get their names unfortunately but they remembered me and my room number instantly.
Great conversationally and so friendly, shame I couldn’t say goodbye to any of them on the way out, much appreciated!

"Hotel Great, Restaurant Atrocious."
Having used the Premier Inns for several years now, we have never had a problem. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and comfortable. The meals have always been great in the Brewers Fayre and Beefeaters. However this time at the Rusty Cutter the meals were atrocious.
We attended for evening meal and the menu choice had been greatly reduced with greatly raised prices and nothing that took our interest at all, we dined in town instead. The following morning we decided to give them another try, my husband ordered a "hot" English breakfast and I ordered a "Continental" breakfast...at £10.99 the "hot" breakfast was a disgrace, everything on my husbands plate was cold (except the plate itself). My "Continental" breakfast cost £8.99 and for that I got a round of toast, there were no usual cold meats and cheeses, the porridge looked like wallpaper paste, the yoghurts were open bowls with no cover on them (very off putting), so in all we paid almost £20 for rubbish, Previously everything was value for money and a great experience. NOW HOWEVER WE WONT BE USING PREMIER INN AGAIN NOW THE RESTAURANTS HAVE CHANGED.
