    "Hot and stuffy"
    England is in the middle of a heatwave. The windows in this hotel are sealed shut and the air conditioning cannot be set to cool overnight (only to heat). It was therefore hardly surprising we had a dreadful night. This from a hotel chain whose key advertising message is a great night's sleep. The staff are friendly and helpful but there's only so much they can do with the frankly ridiculous way this hotel is set up. Having read some dreadful reviews of the food here we chose to eat at the Farmhouse Inn across the car park, which was average but edible. Would we recommend this hotel? Yes, but only in the winter.
    "Exceptional Service"
    The room was spotless and the breakfast delicious. We wanted to mention Caitlin and Toni who are on the housekeeping team but were helping out with breakfast. They were so friendly, kind and helpful and made our stay even more special. Thank you 😊
    "Great experience"
    This a really nice place with welcoming staff. Mohammed in particular was such a great host. He made sure we were comfortable and responded to our every need. Anytime you need a place to stay in Havant or Hayling Island, never look anywhere else.
    "Not the best"
    Premier Inn seem to have nudged their price point upwards and the quality is lagging behind. Checked in on-line, but this didn't save any time as you still have to queue behind those who didn't in order to get your key from reception. Long corridor on third floor smells musty and carpets are tired. Room 320 was OK, but bathroom was smelly (not in a good way). Breakfast was fine and Helena on reception was helpful.
    "Excellent stay"
    Stayed at this Premier Inn on a Saturday night in early August, whilst attending a wedding in nearby Emsworth. Paid £130 for a double room, but later needed an early arrival and on the morning, it was easy enough to pay the £15 to upgrade. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the room itself was of a good quality and no issues were experienced during our stay. It is worth noting the car park is chargeable, which you need to complete on arrival. We also popped down for breakfast on Sunday morning, but advisable to go early as by 09:15 the restaurant was full and there was a wait. If walking into Havant, there is a path along the Langston Technology Park, which takes about 10 minutes. Handily there is also a very large Tesco just on the other side of the A27, if you need any supplies. Would definitely recommend, there was also a pub/restaurant next door but we didn’t make use of this during our stay.
