"Super stay at Premier Inn"
Although the building is tired and in need of updating don’t let this put you off. The customer service from Matt and Ollie was outstanding and the food by Mark was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond making our stay a really lovely start to our holiday.
"Fantastic customer service!"
We had fantastic customer service from Ollie and Matthew, and lovely food from Mark from the chef. Nothing was too much trouble and they were unfailingly friendly, polite and helpful. They made our experience at the hotel really enjoyable ! The rooms were clean and tidy, the hotel restaurant is undergoing a refurb but the fantastic customer service made it not a problem. Thank you Matthew, Ollie and Mark!
"Abysmal Experience"
Having spent many a night in premier inn hotels, I can quite categorically state that this Inn was by far the worst. I accept that when I booked there were no double rooms left and accepted the accessible room. However I found the room to be dated and rather shoddy especially in the bathroom. The main issue was the food and drink or rather the lack of it. When booking I booked the meal deal with evening meal and breakfast. We very soon discovered that the menu was nothing like the usual standard and that you had no draught beer/lager. The food options were abysmal, so much do, we complained and received a refund on the evening meal part of our booking. The breakfast was also not up to the usual standard, the cooked breakfast was either reheated food or cold!! Again the place itself was very dated and had a distinct shabby, unkempt feel to it, not what I would expect from the brand!! The staff were amazing and extremely embarrassed and kept apologising but I felt embarrassed for them. The place looked like it was either being prepared to be shut down or refurbished and I was left feeling extremely let down by the brand. It has left me feeling uneasy about returning to any Premier Inn establishments in the future.
"Very good room, but staff shortages obvious"
Room very comfortable and air conditioned. Restaurant a little tired. Staff worked their socks off, despite obvious shortages.
"Could have beern better"
Bath was dirty/stained and could do with updating. My bed was fine but wifes bed was to small and uncomfortable also at breakfast twice in a row there was hardly any bread and lack of staff to ask for more.
