"A run down hotel with limited staff"
Appalling place. Only two staff on site. One managing the front desk and being the Chef and one being the waitress. At first we thought we were entering a derelict building as it’s so run down and badly needs refurbishing throughout. Not to the normal premier inn standard. The breakfast took 1 hour to cook from ordering it and was not the greatest cooked breakfast either. We will not be returning, as it was not worth the money.

"Great staff and peaceful stay"
Seeing family locally, building looks really tired and wasn’t sure we were in the right place, Gemma greeted us on reception and was lovely and welcoming, she was efficient and a pleasure to chat to, we ate in the restaurant which is looking tired but Mia was really helpful and friendly and overall our stay was great and relaxing, the rooms had everything we needed and were clean with good air con, plenty of free parking and an ideal location for us, would definitely go back hopefully they will get a refurbishment as the tiredness can be off putting but the effort of the staff is what made our stay so good.

This place needs some TLC, but soon to come so I hear. Food was good, the room was clean and comfy. Kiera was on the desk and she was a delight, Amelia was my server and she did a top job.

"Customer complaints service terrible"
I was unable to contact the area manager to discuss the mould in the room or poor ventilation despite hours chatting online to customer services.

After reading some of the reviews we nearly cancelled! So very pleased we did nt. Room was clean and tidy, up to the same standard as other premier inns, Staff, were all friendly and helpful. Which always helps make any stay good. Breakfast cooked to order, which took slightly longer, but worth waiting for. Nice quiet setting.
Its easy to see in its early days the building its self would have offered charm, and is full of charactor it is very sad to see it looking neglected. We understand it is going to be renovated . Either way we would definitely return to it happily, its easy reach of Lymington Ferry, and lots of other places around the new forest..
