"Good room - shocking restaurant."
Room is fine - the attached Brewers Fayre which acts as the restaurant and bar is shocking - will never stay here again...

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value for money. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean just a bit of cleaning and dusting on electric fans and hang curtain to hang properly. Otherwise everything is fairly good.

"Great short break for family and close to Legoland"
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent choice at breakfast (including gluten free options), well equipped room and lovely shower. Great base for visiting local attractions such as Legoland which is only 30 minutes away. Would definitely recommend.

"Comfortable stay but hotel needs updating"
This hotel offers comfortable beds and is in a very convenient location for anyone working in the Hampshire area. The receptionist was extremely helpful on arrival and even carried my bag up the stairs, which was a kind gesture given that the hotel has no lift. I didn’t need the help, but it was appreciated as I had my hands full.
However, the hotel itself is quite tired and would really benefit from some updating. In my room, the bathroom fan was so loud it could be heard from outside the door. I’d also suggest addressing the issue of pigeons nesting in the gutters — being woken at 4:30 a.m. by pigeons starting their day doesn’t make for the most restful sleep.
