"Great experience"
We booked two rooms for two nights for a mini break with family. Great location, friendly & helpful staff. We only used rooms to sleep in so served this purpose. Free parking is a bonus. Breakfast was excellent in the on site Beefeater but this is about to close and breakfast facility transferred into to the hotel.

"2nd class hotel"
The hotel is in dire need of refurbishing. The breakfast was precooked and cold. The positive is the staff were fantastic

Absolutely horrendous two night stay due to the room being like an oven,the room temperature didn’t drop below 32 degrees all weekend which made it impossible to get any sort of sleep.Fans were provided but were just pushing the hot air around,surely the installation of air conditioning should be a serious option moving forward.

"Poor night’s sleep due to rowdiness"
Booked in for 2 nights but left after the first. Drunken men in the car park shouting obscenities till midnight. Then 1 a.m to 3 a.m noise from the room above. I did report to reception. Staff were very pleasant but I found out from people who live nearby that this is a rough place. Seeing the carrier bags of cheap lager being brought in the next day, it was clear that the following night would be no better

The best thing about this hotel is its lovely staff. We stay here very regularly, usually on Sunday night and Chandan is always here to greet us. He is really lovely and nothing is too much trouble. He’s a credit to the hotel and makes up for the otherwise rather tired hotel. But everything always works and it’s clean so what’s not to like?
