Basingstoke Town Centre hotel

Rooms are so hot and stuffy as windows don't open. Air con doesn't work properly through the night, only the day, but it's too noisy anyway to sleep with it on. Can hear people walking around in room above at all hours. Pillows flat and hard. Breakfast was decent - nice lady made me fresh fried eggs everyday as ones under the heat lamp always look terrible. Cleaning staff were friendly. Bathroom fan ridiculously loud. It's council car parking so have to pay. Rate was reasonable for a town centre and bed comfy enough apart from pillows.

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. I have never met a more helpful and kind member of staff as Bobby. He really went out of his way to interact with all customers and I feel he deserves some special recognition for this. Keep up the good spirit Bobby - the world needs more people like you!

It's a Premier Inn... what do you expect :) I personally had no issues here. Came up from Sussex for a friends birthday meal. Stayed with a friend but we each had our own room. We were both at the top floor and my room was HUGE. Even had a bath if I wanted to use it. All facilities were clean and worked perfectly. I have long hair and the hairdryer did just fine. Bed was so comfy that I think as soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light! Had such a great sleep. I had a view of what I recall may have been council offices or BT but no noise at all from there. My friend I was with, she drove and managed to get a space outside. Parking is the same cost at Premier Inn as it is across the road. It was a Thursday at 3pm when we arrived, so probably a quieter time to come and grab a space at the door. Then you just renew the parking online via an app or website I think. We both opted for breakfast and just paid when we went down in the morning. I'd never had a Premier Inn breakfast before but it was so much better than I thought it would be! The quality was great, food was hot too. And never thought I'd say it but... the coffee downstairs at the machine - WOW. So nice! I'm lactose intolerant and the manager (I think she may have been called Irene or Ingrid?) went and grabbed me some soya milk for my coffee which is fab service! Shout out to Claire on reception. In the evening I needed a sanitary item. She said they don't have any but she had some with her and helped me out until I could pop into town :) she really did go the extra mile and I really appreciate that. Claire is a hero! Overall, fab stay and no doubt I'll be back again to visit my friend again (lived in Basingstoke for a little bit) and would happily come stay here again.

Having had a recent awful experience at Premier Inn Cirencester it was great to enjoy really great customer service at the Premier Inn Basingstoke. This hotel was in the middle of major installations in reception yet managed to deliver a flawless service. Special mention to the restaurant staff and chef for a superb breakfast and table service.

I recently stayed at Premier Inn and had a very enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and I slept really well. It would be great if decaf tea were available, but overall, everything was excellent. I would definitely stay here again!
