Wigan (M6, J25) hotel

Hot bedroom with no working thermostat. Bathroom mouldy. Food appalling. had to be sent back as the chicken was not cooked. Replacement was just as bad. 12 skinny chips as a portion with the main meal is a joke. Cold processed cheese on the Tortillas - wth ?? Breakfast was no better. 9.15am ran out of eggs when breakfast was on until 11am. Fruit was black and bruised, well, the 2 apples and 3 tangerines that was on offer. Have chucked away better fruit than was being served here. Not value for money. Gone down hill drastically. Either needs improving or shutting down completely. Come on Premier Inn, sort yourselves out

Rooms comfortable and beds great, has a greta nights sleep. Parking handy at front of hotel. Food was REALLY poor at dinner time and limited at breakfast.

Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay. The premier inn itself was good and clean and comfortable.

Pretty standard Premier Inn, although the hotel is looking tired and cloud do with a refurbished. Very few Premier inn's seem to have air con do the room was like an oven and uncomfortable to sleep in despite having two fans blowing on me. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Overnight stay... this must be part of the older premier inn estate. There is no lift to the upper floor and given the recent weather the rooms have no AC.. there was a fan in the room that sounded like an aircraft taking off. Nothing against the reception who came after several calls on the buzzer. Ive stayed in premier inns from portsmouth to elgin in the north of Scotland. If im ever travelling south again, I think i'll give one a miss
