Manchester Salford Quays hotel

I travel for my company and stay regularly at premier inns. I'm lucky my company pays for everything, room,food, drink, WiFi and parking. I arrive at the reception and give my name and asked for the booking reference. Okay so far, booking reference is a new 1. I find the it and get told I have to pay for the room and everything. I explain that it is already paid for via my company and to check again. A second man, appears and says the same but in a rude manner. Now this start to upset. He tries speaking over me telling me I'm wrong and that there system say i have to pay. Well I shut him down by talking over him telling him tonlet me finish. I find a confirmation letter that the hotel receives explaining i get everything and its all paid for by the company. The first chap is more apologetic the 2nd larger one continues to be aggressive in manner. I get my room key and wifi code and then get told its a pay to park carpark. Not trusting a word they say as they clearly dont know what they are doing. I check and yes I have to pay. Shame that wasn't on the website. I advise them that I will be complaining about the service and the manner I was dealt with. In short I wont be returning here and advising my company to take the hotel off there site and go elsewhere.

A Premier Inn - comfy beds, good curtains and everything you need without the frills. I can't complain at all for the price we paid. We had a room overlooking the docks, which was really nice.

Oh dear. It was so disappointing. It is the third Premier Inn we have stayed at this year and was by far the worst. It needs revamping. The seat in the room has horribly stained and the curtains had holes in them.There is no reception area, or place to meet friends other than the Beefeater next door, which is equally run down.

Hotel nice enough , breakfast a massive let down Unlimited advertised cooked breakfast to me indicates a buffet all you can eat, instead have to order off a menu, waited 30 minutes (which we didn't allow for as a buffet takes minutes ) then when it arrived tomato was still raw , breakfast luke warm, portions of beans very small, bacon undercooked and with a buffet could choose your own pieces and just overall a very disappointing experience, bit of false advertising really saying unlimited breakfast when you can't really go back up or when u order an item and the portions are tidy , premier inn normally our go to hotels but not be any more I'm afraid

Great location, shame about the lack of communication from staff and the room had rubbish left from the previous occupants.
