Manchester West Didsbury hotel

Moving son between uni accommodations Great premier inn Value for money brilliant for location Polite staff, clean, comfy and quite modern. Lady in breakfast pod working very fast and polite Building work - site staff quiet polite and accommodating - it will be great when it’s finished !

We have stayed here a number of times but the hotel seems lacking in lots of ways. After a warm welcome my reception staff, we were advised we had been allocated an accessible room. Not too much of a problem. The bed was very small though and the room dated and had not been cleaned thoroughly ie a cobweb on the outside of the toilet door, spider in the bathroom, a hair in the bath and, I decided to wipe the top of the hand soap as looked a bit yellow and it had congealed soap on it. The desk chair was highly stained so didn’t feel we wanted to sit on it. Asked receptionist for a fan and was handed one - she said “here’s the one for that room”. Which I initially thought was odd but then over the next three nights, with the temperature of the room soaring to 27 degrees +, we understood why we needed it.kept the window ajar for air flow but were roadside and emergency services were frequently passing by during the night. Add to that the excessively noisy fan and we had three very poor nights of sleep. Parking… there’s not enough if hotel is busy as renovation work to extend hotel means part of car park is blocked off. The bit that can be used is apparently not owned the the hotel and spaces are sold to non-hotel guests, leaving hotel guests with an option to park at a day nursery (5mins walk away). Not ideal when needing to load car with lots of items each morning ready for early starts at a bike race meeting! No decisive solutions given in respect of the high temperature issue - no alternative room offered. One pillow each. Not enough. I expect more from this hotel at nearly £500 for 3 nights. I know it’s not meant to be The Ritz but fell hugely short on giving us a decent night’s sleep and being completely clean. We expect more from West Didsbury Premier Inn.

Convenient for 1 nights stays for gigs at Wythenshaw park but needs some general modernisation and maintenance. Room was extremely warm and no aircon and limited window opening. Very dusty fan provided

Standard Premier Inn room close to the airport for early flight. Travelled night before so we could get a few hours sleep. Unfortunately due to the aircon not working this didn’t happen. A fan was provided but didn’t have any impact

Tight car parking spaces at the start. Then slight bad attitude checking in. Get to the room extremely hot and only moderately warm outside. Not enough sheets pillowcases to make up 3rd bed in the room
