Manchester Trafford Centre North hotel

The closure of the attached 'Table table' restaurant chain has left this inn really struggling. Have stayed 3 nights and each night there are a lot of the items on the menu that are not available. The bar was not much better with no gas so only bottles available. Staff are trying hard to make up for it and friendly. Just has the feeling of a failing, tired establishment that is past its best.

Awful, no chef so breakfast was an absolute shambles, as person stepping in didn't know how to cook scrambled eggs, so did something in the microwave which resembled a messed up omelette! Forgot hash browns I had to go chasing around looking for staff to tell,.no pancakes,

We were in room 2. Really noisy all the time as really close to the reception area. Room was fine with all the usual amenities. Staff were lovely, but the breakfast was absolutely awful both days. The first day we both ordered a cooked breakfast. It arrived at the table incorrect in both cases, with half the items missing, the waitress took them away and they came back correct, but both plates were cold! Disgusting, but we thought maybe the chef was having an off day, but my husband ordered the same breakfast again this morning, again it was cold! I advised the waitress and she apologised and told us it would be changed. It came back and had obviously just been microwaved and placed on a different plate! The black pudding had turned to mush! Very very disappointing when you’ve paid for an unlimited breakfast. Today I had cereal. Only a tiny bit of fruit left, hardly any milk left, no bananas at all and no wholemeal bread. The coffee machine had run out of milk on the Saturday and coffee today! We love staying in Premier Inns but have never been so disappointed in the breakfast. Absolutely awful! Don’t pay for it!

I travel a lot and regularly use premier inn. This is the worse one I have stayed at. The room was noisy as it was next to a main rd and had no hot water at all. I informed the receptionist who did very little. The restaurant was atrocious. We waited 45mins for our meal (there was only one other table being used). When it did arrive the food was inedible. Pizza was melted cheese on raw dough and the chicken was so hard it was impossible to chew. I will never go back here again.

I chose this PI as it looked closest to Trafford Centre where we were going to spend our time. It showed a 10 minute walk on Google. I did not expect having to walk next to a very busy road though. That put me off the whole trip. You couldn’t just pop back and drop a few things back in the hotel room. That would be the reason why I wouldn’t stay there again. I’ve enjoyed PI food in the past but as we were at the Centre there was lot of options hence why we didn’t eat at the PI on this occassion. Lots of parking but not sure how safe that area is.
