"Great two night stay"
Great Premier Inn, good location, close to Manchester & the Peak District, room was clean staff friendly, we did have a problem with our toilet
not flushing the second day, so was swiftly moved to a new room just down the corridor, and refunded the price of our breakfast (£20) which was great, would definitely stop here again

"Lovely stay under difficult circumstances."
We stayed here for 4 nights due to attending two funerals in 3 days. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and sympathetic. They showed care and compassion at all times. The food was amazing. Best Roast beef we have had in a long time. This hotel now tops our list when visiting family in the Tameside area. Well done and thank you guys.

"Hotel was fine, The Mottram Wood is another story!"
The hotel was OK, more than a bit weathered and worn, definitely at the lower end of the Premier Inn experience but clean. The staff were excellent with a positive, can do attitude, genuine smiles; nothing was too much bother. These people almost exclusively bumped the score i gave up.
The same cannot be said of The Mottram Wood, the restaurant/pub next door where we get breakfast. The place was awful, stank of sweat, stale beer, urine and vape and looks nothing like the photo's shown by Greene King on Google. The scrambled eggs were dry, bacon burnt, and the sausages contained more gristle than meat. The smell was turning my stomach anyway, couldn't get out quick enough! Walked in on the evening for dinner and it smelled worse! Had to go find somewhere else to eat.

"An unexpected stop over"
We were not expecting to stay the night but was pleased we booked this premier inn. Ideal location just off the motorway, restaurant next door, McDonald's & Tesco's Extra. Very friendly & helpful receptionist. Room & bathroom good, very clean. Shower powerful with lots of hot water. Very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again.
