      "Great staff."
      Really friendly welcome and the rooms were clean and comfortable. As a lone female traveler the first room allocated wasn't really suitable for my needs but it was no problem for the receptionist to sort me out with a different room. Very helpful and cheerful staff and good value for money.
      "Functional if not perfect"
      Pub restaurant within a few metres and a huge Tesco superstore over the road. We were very disappointed to be charged an additional £39 because we had to amend the date of our stay despite the website suggesting it was the same price as our original date.
      "Requires immediate improvement."
      The room had a musty, moldy smell upon entry, which became less noticeable after a while. However, the breakfast was absolutely disgusting. The croissants and other pastries were under-cooked, with chewy, raw dough inside. It was, in a word, disgusting.
      "Amazing hotel"
      Definitely first choice whenever we visit Manchester. We regularly visit and only stay at this hotel, never been disappointed. Perfect location and amazing hospitality from staff. 10 mins away from snakes pass and a Tesco down the road as well.
      "Stay if you must, a rough area though."
      The location is not the nicest of areas, the hotel was great but the pub was shocking. Filthy dirty carper in the entrance that needed cleaning and hoovering and the rest of the pub is tired. In a rough area and not the sort of place to drink or eat in for long. Much nicer areas to stay.
