    "Simon excellent service"
    Simon in the restaurant was brilliant, so friendly and kind, running the breakfast on his own on a busy Sunday morning after the football. Made you feel really welcome, give this man a pay rise!
    "Premier inn standards are slipping."
    Usual premier inn but old building so in ground floor rooms every footstep above can be heard. Baby elephants walking up and down from 6 am. Reception told us we had to book breakfast and only time slot available was 9 am. Also told we couldn't bring in guests. The restaurant manager told us neither were true. Obviously no joined up message from hotel to restaurant even though both are run by premier inn. We have regularly stayed here for past 16 years and it's the first time we received such poor service

    The staff were exceptionally helpful & friendly both in the hotel & restaurant. The room was clean, comfortable and the right temperature. The quality of food in the restaurant was good, albeit a little bit tired but that didn’t cause any problems. Big shout out to Simon behind the bar on Saturday night and Leon who was on breakfast duty. Both went above & beyond to make our stay great
    "Premier inn is what you expect but the place next door"
    Recpetion lady was lovely and helpful, Room was fine. Bar/restaurant next door (mersey farm) is terrible. The guy behind the bar is very rude. Unfortunately i can't find mersey farm on trip advisor otherwise this review would be for them
    "Fabulous breakfast!"
    We arrived late at the hotel but found it clean, comfortable and a large bedroom. Just what we needed after a day of travelling and flying. Have just enjoyed a fabulous breakfast. Thanks must go to the chef but also the waiter Leon was extremely efficient and friendly. It was a joy to talk with him. Thanks Leon for your hospitality and infectious smile 😊
