"Great all round."
Easy to find the hotel. Clean and tidy. Friendly, helpful staff on reception and at breakfast. Room was spacious. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. Bed comfy and room quiet. Very close to the o2 Victoria warehouse where we attended a gig. Would recommend here to stay to anyone going there. Great night all round.

"Fantastic Stay at Premier Inn Old Trafford"
We stay at the Premier Inn Manchester Old Trafford every so often, and it’s always a great experience. The location is fantastic, with the tram right next to the hotel making it incredibly easy to get around Manchester and explore everything the city has to offer.
We recently extended our Manchester visit because we were having such a great time, so we booked a last-minute stay at Old Trafford for myself, my wife and our 15-month-old.
Hotel Manager Janio was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond for us. He upgraded our room so we could make use of a fridge for our baby’s food, while also ensuring we had a quieter stay. This made such a difference and was hugely appreciated.
The hotel itself was spotless, our room was immaculate, and the amenities were excellent. It’s a lovely, comfortable place to stay, and the friendly service really makes it stand out.
We’ll definitely be coming back to Premier Inn Old Trafford again. Highly recommended!

"Dirty Premier Plus Room and Poor Customer Service"
I am extremely unhappy with my son’s stay at Premier Inn Manchester Old Trafford.
I booked and paid £184 for a Premier Plus room for my 18-year-old son, specifically because he wanted the additional facilities, including the mini fridge. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was completely unacceptable.
The room looked as though it hadn’t been properly dusted for weeks. The walls were filthy, the carpet was dirty, and the general standard of cleanliness was nowhere near what I would expect from Premier Inn, never mind a Premier Plus room that I had paid extra for.
To make matters worse, the mini fridge was faulty, despite this being one of the main reasons I upgraded his room. My son reported this to staff and was simply told that they were fully booked and couldn’t move him to another room. While I understand that another room may genuinely not have been available, no alternative solution, apology, or refund for the Premier Plus extras he had paid for but couldn’t use was offered.
My niece was also staying at the hotel in a separate room, and hers was extremely dusty too — the build-up was so bad in places that it looked like cobwebs. This makes it very difficult to put the condition of my son’s room down to a one-off cleaning issue.
I am particularly disappointed because my son is only 18 and was staying without me. It honestly felt as though they thought that because he was a young guest, they could put him in a dirty room and he wouldn’t complain or make an issue of it.
I paid good money for his stay and specifically paid extra for Premier Plus, so I expected a clean room and working facilities. Instead, he received a dirty room, a faulty fridge and very little help when he raised the problem.
I am extremely unhappy with both the cleanliness of the hotel and the way his complaint was handled. I certainly do not feel that I received what I paid for.

"Not the best experience for a Premier Inn"
We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon for an overnight stay to facilitate an early next day appointment at a nearby hospital. We used a disabled only parking space next to the main entrance which was fortunate for my partner who has mobility issues. On receiving our key we took the lift to our room on the 1st floor where we noticed 3x pizza boxes, one with half eaten crusts hanging out of it on the corridor floor outside the room opposite. Our room was a standard double. When looking out of the window the view was a yard with a cctv camera at the same height and had a direct sight into the room which meant for privacy we had to keep the curtains closed. The bedside lamp on one side did not work but as we were only there for the night we managed. It seemed as though the staff were multitasking between reception and the bar. We went out to eat at the Salford Quays which you can access from the tram stop one stop up from Wharfeside on the Trafford Centre line. On our return sometime later the pizza boxes were still on the floor.
We went for breakfast early next day and noticed on exiting our room surprise surprise the pizza boxes were still there however minus the crusts! I would hope these were not removed by vermin! On checking out I was handed a barcode which is used to scan into the parking payment machine owned by a company called Horizon who charge ALL vehicles for parking with no concessions for disabled parking which poses the question why have the disabled bays at all if there are no concessions. Payment is by card only £10 for 24hrs.
