      "Never again."
This hotel was absolutely disgusting! The grounds are covered in cigarette ends and pigeon poo. The outdoor tables were dirty and broken and the exterior of the hotel dilapidated. Was ashamed and embarrased to be picked up from here by family and friends. We were appalled by the appearance of the bar/restaurant and did not visit. The room was just ok! Would not stay here again, even for free!!! Unable to complain to management as they are totallly unaccessable.

Clean but basic for a business trip. No plug at bed, poor night's sleep due to heat and plane noise (window open as room far too hot). Nothing anyone can do on that, but if you're a light sleeper and like a good snooze, think again. Bed comfy, but it's not a deal breaker to stay here as the sleep is so interrupted. Absolutely, do not let them rinse you for a meal deal. It's basic, microwaved food which tastes of very little. It's very expensive for what it is with not a vegetable in sight. TGI Fridays offer better value for money as you get 20% if you take out. The staff are friendly enough, very standard for these sorts of places.
      "Ruined by Premier Inn"
The hotel side was fine, the beds are the usual comfort and the room was clean. I have used this hotel for 10 years with my wife we have even stayed on our Wedding Anniversary. However Premier Inn have destroyed the bar attached. When this was a Table Table bar the menu was varied and great. However since Premier Inn have taken over it the food is awful and the choice very limited and poor. I suggest this will reduce trade. If you want a base for Manchester Airport like us thus was great and the location is fine however do not go here to enjoy ypurself on the night before your flight as the menu is limited and the food awful.
"Not the nicest looking Premier In"
stayed here for two nights due to location and price and not having to pay for parking. After arriving via a short drive past to the David Lloyd car park (as not well sign posted and my sat nav thought DL looked nicer) check in was fine. No small talk but that’s ok. The family in front were told about asking for room to be cleaned and fresh towels but we never go told any info. Room was a bit dated. Distinct lack of plug sockets and no usbs at all. Very warm room but the fan did the job although it looked a bit wonky. On leaving on our first morning there was no one at reception (725am) and lots of rubbish outside. Returned at 1300 and still no one one reception. I don’t think i would stay here again.
"Restaurant should be closed down due to poor hygiene"
I had the worst experience in this hotel, where my company booked me originally for 2 nights. The room was OK. It was basic and dated but clean. No sockets by the bed. The real issue was the restaurant. When I went there for breakfast, it was by far the filthiest place I've ever seen. There was a piece of pepperoni next to my seat. It could have been left there last night, or last month. There were crumbs everywhere, it was clearly not cleaned the night before. Maybe for a week. The food offer was very poor and frankly disgusting. Mushrooms from a can, inedible tomatoes, dry sausages and the hash browns tasted of oil that hasn't been changed for months. I nearly threw up. Will be reporting this to health authorities. The service was also poor, with the staff member spending time on her phone vs serving her 3 customers she had at the time. Thankfully my company has rebooked me to another hotel for the 2nd night. This hotel has now been blacklisted and we will not be back.
