"Dissapointing and tired"
Bed was lumpy. Pillow cases had holes in. Hairdryer is slow, low powered and you have to hold button down to use. Bottom of doors peeling, and room a little tired
"Enjoyable"
Great very helpful staff. comfy bed good pillows Nice quiet room perfect after a busy day/s Manchester. Great location
"Woeful."
The staff were all excellent. Receptionists and front of staff/ maitre de of the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The rooms were really well soundproofed and the bed was comfortable. The towels were nice and fluffy. However, the room itself was absolutely woeful. It was described as a ‘premier room’ but it was very grotty. Furniture ripped/ worn away and bleach marks allover the floor. See photos. The window didn’t open and the air conditioning is quite noisy and it goes off every 3 hrs so not great if you’re overheating and need a restful night. The shower is over the bath without a hose part so you’re stood under it and that’s that. No bath mat. The ‘minibar’ was 2 small bottles of water. The tea and coffee facilities weren’t adequate. Two small coffee pods that filled a quarter of a cup, two teabags and four of those annoying little plastic tubs of milk. The reception area felt like some hostels I’ve stayed in. I do understand that Premier Inn uses the dynamic pricing method and as Oasis were playing the prices were hiked but I paid an extortionate £504 for two nights in one double room- minus breakfast which was a further £10.99 ( continental didn’t have any cold meats and cheeses m?) and I felt like I was just robbed and dumped into a doss house because Premier Inn uses knew they’d get away with it over this weekend. For a city centre hotel, you need to do better. Customers are paying top whack for what is meant to be a budget hotel, which is bad enough but seeing the state of the ‘premier’ rooms, I don’t know how they’re getting away with it. Please see some of the photos of the ‘premier’ room.
"Brilliant"
The bed was extremely comfortable, next door to a good friend of ours and easy access to it. Check-in was flawless, the food was good and close to the town centre.
"Comfortable stay - convenient for city centre"
Room was comfortable, staff friendly and convenient central location. Breakfast and evening meal good. Would visit again.
