"Average stay."
Great central location with good transport links to the city of Manchester. The staff at check-in were very helpful The room we stayed in were tired. Needs basic maintenance to bring up to standard. Bathroom poorly designed and has lead to water damage of the door and floor. Cracks around the door and sink In the bedroom furniture is peeling and exposing the wood underneath. Some people may not pick up on this or be bothered but I think it needs to be addressed considering the prices being charged. That said the room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Good selection off food. Being left on a hot plate ment was slightly cold when eating it. Toasters didnt work properly as didnt seem to pop up. Staff at Breakfast was very helpful and friendly. Originally wanted to book two nights at the hotel however was too expensive, glad I didn't as it is difficult for premier inn to justify the prices when works need to be carried out
"Fantastic Stay"
I stayed in this hotel with family for three nights. Originally had booked a travelodge however changed to premier inn as they are pet free which is much better for me. I am happy I changed as it was actually much cheaper and was a great place to stay. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The room was at the back, I had requested this prior to staying due to previous reviews about noise at the front. The room was quiet, spacious and had twin beds. It was very warm outside when we were there and the air conditioning in the room was fantastic so the room was nice and cool. The room is slightly tired with a few marks/ bashes on walls but this is very minimal and did not affect our stay at all. The location is fantastic, really near lots of things including places to eat and a tram stop if you want to go further out. The bar/ restaurant downstairs has some good food offers however was slightly limited in drink choices as they had run out of things and the card machine was not working so it was cash only. There is free WiFi in the hotel which is helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
"Great thanks to Solange."
This would have been an absolute disaster if it wasn't for a highly professional and friendly Solange. She saved the day and offered us a different room when the aircon in ours was not working and it was 30 degrees that day. Please do something about the waiting (reception) area. It was extremely hot and stuffed, while we were waiting in a very long line. Poor reception staff, as well. These are not conditions anyone should be working in!
"Break in"
Stayed at this hotel for a concert, on the first night had someone try to break into our room, he was found but staff just escorted him from the hotel. Police should have been called, children were left terrified and the outcome could have been very different if he had got passed us. Compensated with a free breakfast that we are still waiting to have refunded
"Outstanding Customer service "
We stayed here on the 4th of August for 2 nights. When we got to our room there was a Shower and no bath and my son was really upset we had booked a family room so thought there would be a bath(That's probably my fault I'm sure does say some rooms only have showers) Went to reception and Solauge was really helpful and told me she would do her best and managed to find us a room with a bath. Her dedication and detail was outstanding and is credit to your company. The hotel is in such an excellent location we arrived by coach and it was a 10 Minute walk and is also near a tram stop so no problem getting around Manchester. The on-site restaurant is nice and Lexi gave really good service we had a meal deal voucher and had Breakfast in the morning too.But also plenty of choices of other restaurants and convenience stores. We had a room at the back of the hotel(121) with not much of a view but that did not bother us but on a positive there was no noise! And it was so quiet. The room was lovely no complaints! When we checked we spoke to Daniel and once again the customer service was so nice and friendly! We will return next time we are in Manchester
