Early check-in is available from 11am for an additional fee, and this can either be booked online or at reception (subject to availability).

Is the hotel quiet? Will there be any noise during my stay?

Our hotel is conveniently located next to a tram line, which offers easy access to the city but may also result in some noise, particularly in rooms facing the street. Additionally, as with many central hotels, there can be general activity and noise depending on the time and day. If you're a light sleeper or prefer a quieter room, we recommend calling ahead so we can do our best to allocate a room on the quieter side of the building. Your comfort is important to us, and we'll be happy to help where we can.

I am a seasoned traveller and have mostly used Premier Inn for business for over 15 years. This Premier Inn hotel is by far the worst I have stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot). The hotel was full so no alternative rooms available. The Premier Plus room we booked and were allocated was the worst I have stayed in, it was dingy, the quilt was too small for the bed, one side of the mattress dipped on one side. No storage so had to keep clothes in suitcases, only one comfortable chair, the toilet flush handle didn’t work properly, no net curtains for privacy from the overlooking buildings. The carpets were badly stained and smelly, the shower was ineffective with little power, the receptionist was miserable and far from welcoming. The downward ‘view’ from the window was a balcony overgrown with weeds and a busy courtyard used for parking. Breakfast was adequate however, the queue for a table was 10 deep from 8am. No smiles from the staff apart from the lovely chambermaids. Poor homeless people constantly sat outside the entrance to the hotel. The Ultimate Wi-Fi was slow and pointless to use. This was a disappointing episode which has led me to question the brand in the future.

I have staying at Manchester Central for a number of years whilst attending NHS Confed. No issues and smooth checking. Good nights sleep which is very important. I had an urgent unexpected meeting and having spoken with Dagma who facilitated me to use my room after normal check out time which wade a huge difference and I appreciate this. Big thanks to Dagma who i found was very helpful and customer focused. See you next June

"You don't know what to expect from this Premier Inn"

Paid £200 for a fairly shoddy room. One light not working. Only one set of towels in room. No phone. No access to playback on TV. Room needed a refresh. No decaf in room. Felt like pennies were being pinched, quite literally. Wouldn't stay here again. They say you know what to expect with a Premier Inn. Not this.
