Manchester Central hotel

Hotel was poorly run cleaning staff not on hand lift was dirty, hair in showers and stains on bedsheets.... breakfast was terrible .... just a real disappointment. Im a regular at premier inn this is by far the worst stay I've had in any hotel Ever.

A total shambles. We usually stay at Travelodge but, as we were attending a concert at the Bridgewster Hall, we thought, never mind the expense, it will be worth it for the convenience. The convenience to Bridgewater Hall was the only saving grace unfortunately. On checking in we were told there was no foodcservice available for Dinner or Breakfast which was not ideal, but there were local places to eat, but we were expecting not to have to mess about going out for food as eating in ghe hotel is more convenient and better value for money I am Disabled and need to use a wheel chair to get around. My wife is also disabled. We booked an accessible room which was on ghe 7th floor! That in itself isnt a major problem but, on getting to the room, the lights didnt work so my wife had to trek to reception who sent maintenance to repair the silly card switch. I am bemused why they have these switches but whatever, it got repaired. I then turned on the TV to find we needed a code before it would work,so, off goes the wife back to reception only to be told they dont know the code so we can either change rooms or do without the TV. We chose to change rooms and proceeded to pack our bags and move down to the third floor. When we got there we discovered the TV was restricted to volume 15 which was barely audible so we had to use subtitles. By this point, we couldnt be bothered to complain again. The room itself wasnt very warm and the heating controls made little difference. I appreciate it is a budget hotel, but this was more like fawlty towers and I doubt we will stay with Premier Inn in the future considering the more expensive price structure. Definitely one to avoid!

Location is great. Atmosphere is all right. Rooms have passed their time Value for money a bit poor. Cleanliness could do better.

Solange is an absolute asset to this place! Made our check in seamless and super friendly and helpful! Having this experience from the minute we walked in put the whole stay on a high. I hope Solange gets the recognition that is deserved from this review. Rooms are great value, clean and spacious. Breakfast was great too. (Solange, if you’re reading this, it’s the CEO ;) haha!)

Nice quiet room. Clean and the shower was excellent. Good location for the city, we went to the Albert Hall. The free breakfast included was okay. Vegan sausages and bacon to order. The price was reasonable for a Friday night.
