Manchester Bury hotel

When I arrived at the hotel 3 staff were there, I said hello and was completely blanked! One then eventually showed me a machine to check in whilst they continued their conversation. Went to room and I never write reviews but felt I should as it really wasn’t clean enough. As you can see from the pictures there was bits on the floor in the bathroom, bit of tampax paper behind the door and sticky on beside table, floor and headboard. Not usual standard at all for premier inn. I was away with work and alone and had arrived late so didn’t what to be moving rooms late at night so just slept and left. Be aware there is also construction traffic noise and train noise out the back of hotel but I was up anyway. Such a shame as I usually book PI because of their standard nice rooms and service. The morning staff did at least acknowledge me and shout goodbye when I dropped my key off

Although the doom was clean . Staff on reception rude . We went down to bar last night , tables dirty and sticky , glasses left in tables . Man working bar no communication skills No clue how work the till . Was sending a lady's bills to her room , as he couldn't find what she had eaten Lady steaming at a man , saying her tv was broken ! Never again!!

Great hotel, situated very well for Bury centre & the Metro into Manchester. Friendly staff apart from 'Aggressive Julie, approx 60 years old, with blonde-ish hair'_ That women either needs sacking or some intensive customer training'. Rooms are clean & the breakfast is decent. Your lifts need maintaining - Every time we stop there, at least one (of two lifts) has broken down. Apart from Aggressive Julie & the lifts, it's a great hotel.

My wife and I went to Bury at the weekend to watch a rock band and chose the Premier Inn for an overnight stay because it is close to Bury town centre and the venue we were going to. Excellent Budget hotel. Nice large clean room with comfortable king size bed. The hotel was easy to find and the staff very friendly. The hotel does not have its own free car park but there is a large underground paying one adjacent (Q Park). Hotel guests get a 25% discount so it didn't add much to our costs; the hotel itself is relatively cheap. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a large choice of items, regularly topped it. The hotel was almost full but was relatively noise free during the night (only one or 2 late comers passing by) and there was no traffic noise apparent from our room on the 3rd floor. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Really lovely helpful and friendly staff. Clean and well kept and great location. Will stay again when visiting family due to great service. Well done
