Is the hotel quiet? Will there be any noise during my stay?

Our hotel is conveniently located next to the metrolink, which offers easy access to the city but may also result in some noise, particularly in rooms facing the street. Additionally, as with many central hotels, there can be general activity and noise depending on the time and day. If you're a light sleeper or prefer a quieter room, we recommend calling ahead so we can do our best to allocate a room on the quieter side of the building. Your comfort is important to us, and we'll be happy to help where we can.

There is no on-site parking available at this hotel. Chargeable off-site parking is available at Knowsley Street Q Park (BL9 0SW). Guests can benefit from a 25% discount when pre booking online (discount code PREMBR25. ). Height restriction 2.1m. Please note that this is a ticketless car park and you’ll be required to use your card upon entering and exiting.

Alternatively there is also street parking pay & display on Knowsley Street ( walking distance from the hotel ) limited to a 2 1/2 hour stay through the day, free between 6pm and 8 am, and £1.00 all day on Sunday and Bank Holidays or car park can be alternatively booked via Your Parking Space Website.

Premier inn bury is defo one of the better hotel . Staff are amazing special thanks to Joanne Claire Lucy whi we’re super helpful and make great food . Hopefully be back soon.

"Good location. Expensive parking."

Good location. Clean room. Expensive car park. We had emailed about parking in advance but received no response, which is a pity, as an advance reservation would have saved us money.

this trip was for the Gallipoli parade clean cosy atmosphere friendly staff,however there was an advert in the lift advertising late night pizzas after 10pm we divided to try this, the staff had no idea about it they had to go in the lift to read the sign for themselves and just simply said we don't have any pizza, was disappointed. this hotel has no car park but it is next door to the metro and the bus station

"Easter family trip - 2026"

stayed over Easter whilst visiting family. Beds were very comfy, as was the cleanliness of the hotel and the overall service. No parking out the front except for drop offs but as it was Easter, there were reduced rates and you can park for 2 hours outside the town hall, or the main car park. The hotel was busy but peaceful and quiet. Great location for Bury markets and the steam train, and for exploring Manchester and the surrounding area

"You don’t know what your getting with this premier inn!"

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in. We booked for two nights so we could take our son on the East Lancashire rail experience. We checked in room 217 on the first day and the smell that greeted us was awful. The window was already open so someone was clearly aware of the issue. We were tired so decided to persevere with the smell until my son put the air con on and the room was instantly filled with a stench that we couldn’t tolerate so we ran to reception and they gave us a key to another room. The restaurant was closed because there was no chef and when we said we were relying on the restaurant for our son to eat tea they suggested getting a take away. I feel sorry for the staff, they were a two member team at best and clearly overwhelmed and overworked. Tried to call customer services and no one to deal with it- shambles Not only will we not be Back to this hotel I doubt we will ever book a premier inn again.
