      "Such wonderful lovely staff"
We were let down last minute and ended up booking at the premier inn a few hours before we arrived. Welcomed at the reception by Jazz who was a huge help to us. Few system technical issue but she was very honest about the fact she hadn’t been there for very long so it was going to take her a minute. We got there in the end and she was happy to answer all our questions and was happy to help in anyway she could. Food in the pub next door was delicious!!! I had made a comment that it needs some serious decorating which turns out will be happening soon, which is wonderful news because it is so sad that the wonderful staff you have here have to work in such a run down dark pub. But our stay was lovely the hotel was clean and the bed as always in premier inn 10/10. Jazz good luck with this new career you have got this.
      "great staff"
we stayed here after the Liverpool parade, the staff were great, especially Abbie, when we got back to the hotel after midnight she was a friendly face after a traumatic time. I then got a parking ticket for the carpark & Mel at the hotel got it cancelled straight away with no hassles. highly recommend staying here :) plus the bed was super comfy!
      "Misleading facilities and vandalism."
After I had booked the hotel with a non-refundable rate, I received an email stating… “We’re currently making some changes to our hotel, which means our restaurant will look a little different while we finish redesigning the new space.” Whilst I appreciate the email, when I arrived at the hotel it said the restaurant was only open for breakfast and dinner (5pm-9pm). At no point was any of this mentioned in the email. If I would have known about this I would have booked another hotel as I needed to eat before 5pm due to work commitments. This is completely misleading. Due to the rate I booked, I couldn’t cancel the booking, and even if I had tried then I wouldn’t have found these times until I turned up at the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel car park, there was vandalism to the security barrier system with youths causing a nuisance shouting at cars upon entrance. Another guest pointed this out to the woman on reception but she didn’t have anything to say about it. There was also remains of a smashed car window with glass on the floor of the car park which didn’t fill me with any hope that the hotel was a safe place to leave your vehicle. Understandably, vehicles are left in the car park at the owners risk but to have a security barrier system vandalised and evidence of vehicle break ins was really poor. On top of this, check out is 12pm, however I was woken up with two knocks on the bedroom door at 11.03am for cleaning. Why is this happening? I was working until midnight and fully expected no knocking on my room until I had checked out at 12pm. This is the second Premier Inn I have stayed at which has caused unnecessary noise and problems with cleaning staff on the morning of checkout.
      "Recommend."
Outside could do with a lick if paint but that's all you can fault. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. Reasonable price, easy access from M6. Plentyif free parking. . One of the better Premier Inns we stay at.
"Ok , for overnight stay ."
Don't order breakfast if your in a hurry . Very good car parking, don't follow postcode on confirmation e mail , it takes you to some random trading estate , its great for overnight stay , because it's 2 or 3 miles from Haydock or saint helens , and restaurant next door does not open until 5 pm so don't turn up early, check in at 3 pm or £15 early check in so nothing to do in the area .
