      "Best staff"
All of the staff at the hotel we so polite and friendly, they are going through a tough time with the restaurant closing in a couple of weeks but handled everything brilliantly. I was asked at every meal If I had any allergies and they were always friendly and had a smile on their faces . A big thanks to all of the staff that I met : Donna, Jazz, Shannon, Mel and Abbie and anyone else i met whilst there. Thanks for making my stay enjoyable.
      "Visiting family "
We had a lovely stay over the weekend, we came to visit family, chose this hotel because of the location, it's in between Manchester and Liverpool so great spot, had a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, reception very helpful, room was super clean, ate in the restaurant evening and breakfast lovely food, the poached eggs was perfect! We all really enjoyed our stay defo won't be our last visit, highly recommend.
      "Great hotel all round"
Great hotel, good transport links, stayed for 2 nights. Spotlessly clean and all staff were fantastic. From reception, housekeeping, restaurant and management, everyone we encountered was so welcoming and friendly. They couldn't do enough for us, we will definitely stay again.
      "Book somewhere else!"
Underwhelming welcome on check-in. The room was very clean but very hot. The temperature was 25 degrees C on arrival. Window open and fan didn't help as temp in room rose to 27 overnight, making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Paid for a meal deal, which was a big mistake as on arrival at the run down, bleak restaurant, we were told that almost half the menu was unavailable. The restaurant was practically empty with only about four other tables in use, yet our food took a full hour to arrive. When the food did arrive, it was pretty awful. Two sirlion steaks were supposed to be cooked medium, but were a dried out well-done. Potatos dippers were actually just chips with some sorry looking topping and no actual dip. During our meal some of the local balaclava wearing youth cycled into the car park, dismounted and proceeded to stare through the windows of the restaurant at the guests and the Premier Inn itself. I was already worried about leaving our vehicle in the car park due to the area looking really sketchy. Balaclava wearing neds prowling the car park didn't help. The cooked breakfast had a nasty taste about it and the Continental was a pile of burnt croissants and pain au chocolat (see photo) Would recommend avoiding this place and booking elsewhere.
      "Such wonderful lovely staff"
We were let down last minute and ended up booking at the premier inn a few hours before we arrived. Welcomed at the reception by Jazz who was a huge help to us. Few system technical issue but she was very honest about the fact she hadn’t been there for very long so it was going to take her a minute. We got there in the end and she was happy to answer all our questions and was happy to help in anyway she could. Food in the pub next door was delicious!!! I had made a comment that it needs some serious decorating which turns out will be happening soon, which is wonderful news because it is so sad that the wonderful staff you have here have to work in such a run down dark pub. But our stay was lovely the hotel was clean and the bed as always in premier inn 10/10. Jazz good luck with this new career you have got this.
