    "Good for a short stay"
Lovely staff in reception and clean rooms however WiFi is slow and unfortunately hairdryer didn’t work although we where allowed to use one in another room. But for a 1 or 2 night stay it’s fine. Great breakfast next door at the beehive pub and very close to Bolton stadium
    "Comfortable and pleasant stay."
We were a bit apprehensive about staying here as there seemed to be a few bad reviews, we usually stay at the Macron Arena Premier Inn but due to events this particular weekend it was full. Reception. We were greeted by Teesha who so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I have a disability and we were put on the first floor so the stairs would have been a struggle for me, we mentioned this to Teesha and she moved us to a room on the ground floor near reception without any fuss so thanks to her for that. We also dealt with Adele on reception while there who is so helpful and friendly nothing to much trouble for her to help us with, a credit to the Premier Inn. Reception itself is a pleasant entrance with 2 comfy chairs and a vending machine nicely kept gives a good impression when entering. Rooms Our room was spacious and importantly, clean! Comfy bed and very quiet. Tea and coffee in the room and a fan which was a godsend on the hot weekend. Only downside of the rooms is the shower is over the bath which was a bit difficult for me, much prefer a walk in shower. Food I had read that breakfast was not nice so we ate out (please note breakfast and meals are in the pub next door so NOTHING to do with the Premier Inn apart from booking through them) There are plenty of eating places on the Middlebrook Shopping Area also, there is a Sizzling Steak about 10 mins away that does lovely food called The Three Pigeon’s on Wigan Road. All in all a pleasant stay and we will be staying at the Premier Inn Bolton West in future as we loved the place and the staff, lots of parking as well which is free.
    "Over night stop"
This premier inn was spotless! Staff friendly and welcoming The room was rather hot as no air conditioning throughout! Fans provided but had no impact due to the exceptionally hot weather experienced during our overnight stay Breakfast was very disappointing! So much so, we chose not to eat it and asked for a refund. The manager offered to get some fresh breakfast prepared but we opted to give breakfast a miss.
"Adequate stopover for a one-night stay"
Good-sized and comfortable bedroom, with clean bathroom and shower facilities . Experience let down by poor breakfast
    "Good hotel, dreadful breakfast."
We slept well in a clean room with comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff - the normal good Premier Inn experience! However, our stay was spoiled by the awful breakfast, which, from experience, is far below the quality offered in other Premier Inns. The sausages were leathery and noticeably of poorer quality than in other Premier Inns. The bacon, overcooked on one side only was tough, tomato half half cooked and only warm making them unpleasant. Baked beans were watery and cheap - not something we've noticed as beans have been good in other Premier Inns. If the above experience wasn't bad enough, insult was added to injury when we found out that real coffee wasn't available, only instant. This is 2025, not 1975 and real coffee is available everywhere, even burger vans, but not in this pub! This is such a major omission of something that one would reasonably expect from a hotel that customers should be warned when booking. We cancelled breakfast for the second morning of our stay, deciding to get something more edible en route and the helpful receptionist explained that Greene King ran the pub, not Premier Inns/affiliated companies as is usual. It seems Greene King are providing a "money for old rope" service to Premier Inns and these poor experiences of the breakfast have resulted in this rather damning review.
