Bolton (Stadium/Arena) hotel

This place suited us perfectly. Right next to the train station, Bolton football stadium and a huge shopping area. The staff in the hotel are top notch, especially the lady who worked in the breakfast area. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I will certainly book this hotel again. Thanks

I wouldn’t recommend the Bolton Stadium Premier Inn based on my recent stay. The towel provided in my room was dirty, which I only discovered after showering. When I complained, the response was completely inaccurate, and even after I corrected them, they didn’t respond at all. The lack of accountability and follow‑up says a lot about the customer service here.……. Thank you for reaching out regarding your recent stay at Premier Inn Bolton (Stadium Arena) on 26/02/2026. I understand that, as you’ve mentioned, you arrived to find that one of the towels provided in your room was dirty and had a false eyelash on it. You raised this with the hotel team during your stay, and as per our investigation, the staff apologised and provided you with a replacement towel. I also acknowledge that you feel the £21 Goodwill Gesture refund offered is not sufficient and that you requested for this matter to be escalated further. As you asked for your case to be reviewed at a higher level, I am responding directly. We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to describe your experience, and we have shared your full correspondence with the hotel management team to ensure visibility and to allow corrective steps to be taken to avoid similar situations in the future. After reviewing your case thoroughly, we will not be issuing any further refund on this occasion. This is because the issue was raised and resolved at the time by the on-site team, and the Goodwill Gesture of £21 previously offered is the full amount applicable under our policy in these circumstances. However, your response does not accurately reflect the seriousness of what happened during my stay. After showering, I used the towel provided in the room and only afterwards discovered that it had a part‑set of false eyelashes embedded in it. This clearly shows the towel was already dirty before I used it. Realising I had dried myself with a used, unhygienic towel made me feel physically sick, and it is completely unacceptable for any guest to be put in that position. As a paying customer, I have a reasonable and legal expectation that the room and all items within it are clean, safe, and fit for purpose. Clean towels are a basic standard, and it is my consumer right to expect this level of hygiene from Premier Inn. On this occasion, that standard was not met, and the experience fell well below what any guest should have to tolerate. No replacement towel was offered at the time, as it was already too late. Given the nature of the issue, the distress it caused, and the clear failure to provide a clean and hygienic room, I do not feel that the offer of £21 is appropriate, and I have therefore rejected it. I would appreciate this being reconsidered, as the current response does not reflect the seriousness of the situation or Premier Inn’s usual standards of care

Room is clean but very poorly furnished. No desk or dressing table, just a shelf in front of a mirror in a dark part of the room. No drawers for storage of personal items. Shower door did not cover the whole of the area resulting in puddles of water which soaked the mat. Staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Any requests I had emailed to the hotel were met.

Rooms are lovely. Location good. Some staff are amazing like Jill. She is a true gem. Fantastic customer care and service. Some of the staff need retraining as to how to be happy and friendly. Hotel should have facilities for babies. Providing warm milk at least. 1st morning got given milk not even warm with not a friendly smile. Had to go to the harvester accross the way and got hot milk for my grandson. 2nd morning Jill was working and was amazing went and warmed the milk herself and popped into my flask had a happy baby. I'm a Bolton girl disappointed how sad some of the staff were. Cheer up and enjoy ur job or leave. Praise to Jill your awsome !!!!!
