"Good but poor in places"
We booked a premier plus room that is supposed to be better than the standard room but the Carpet was stained. And a spring was Sticking out at the side of one side of the mattress my husband almost injured himself on it vey Dangerous. The coffee machine leaked also .
"Good location for quick access to Central London, but not in Central London"
Stayed here for a long weekend in London. In a great location just a short walk to Wimbledon station and from there the District Line or trains to Waterloo. Lots of choice for places to eat nearby too. Really quiet room - didn't hear any outside noise and the staff were helpful and friendly. No problem in moving me to a room with a walk-in shower rather than bath.
"Underwhelming overall"
A family weekend in London. Good location with great access to a train station 6/7 minutes in one direction and an underground 6/7 minutes in other direction. Great welcome and the receptionist had put the rooms together as we were a group which was really kind. We had booked a twin which was a large bed and a couch converted so this was disappointing. Reception staff each evening were sullen and unfriendly even when greeted. The cleaning staff are quiet, discreet, and friendly. Breakfast was not good considering the cost, staff were lovely but the chef was disorganized or overwhelmed. Only putting on additional eggs/ bacon/pastries etc when the others were well gone so you either had to queue and wait or each mushrooms and tomato. Some small amendments or perhaps some management available to oversee would make this hotel 10 times better.
"Local and fairly central to Wimbledon."
Friendly helpful staff, specially helping my disabled wife through doors in her mobility scooter, parking would be my only complaint, but there was a pay and display car park 150 yards away, breakfast was cold would be my only complaint, room was nice and big bed was comfy.
"Our 1st trip to Wimbledon."
The room and bathroom was clean and the bed was super comfortable. There was air conditioning as it was a very hot weekend and we were thankful for it. There were a couple of things that bothered us though and one of those was Kate who we checked in with. She had a little bit of an attitude as I felt I had to query our price for accommodation as it had increased compared to when we reserved it in April 2025. As we selected to pay at the property, we think our stay had increased in price without notifying us. All of the other staff that we came into contact with were pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel was great and in the middle of everything. Besides the price of the hotel and the rude member of staff it was an enjoyable stay and would stay there again. A big shout out to the gentleman on reception Sunday afternoon / early evening. We didn’t catch his name, but he was so happy and helpful. Thank you for that. My recommendation for the Premier Inn would be for someone to notify us if the room rate changes.
